(upbeat music) (upbeat music fades) - Utah Valley University's The Noorda recently launched its 2024-2025 season.
Here with the exciting details about this year's lineup is Assistant Dean from the UVU School of the Arts, Danielle Shipley.
Thank you for being here.
- Thank you so much for having us.
- So tell us a little bit about this year's lineup.
- Absolutely, so we are gonna launch our '24-'25 season with Ben Folds on September 11th, followed up by Jessica Vosk.
You may recognize her from Broadway as Elphaba in "Wicked."
Then we have an exciting lineup as we continue with Charly Lowry and Hubbard Street, something for the family with Honolulu Theatre for the Arts, and Peking Acrobats, which sold out last time at The Noorda.
- Oh, I bet that acrobat show is incredible or phenomenal.
- It's phenomenal.
Something for everyone this season.
So really come get your tickets fast.
- And how do people get their tickets?
- Absolutely, so right now, you can purchase tickets at uvu.edu/thenoodra.
Our season tickets are currently on sale for 25% off, which is our deepest discount of the year, only for a couple more weeks.
But August 1st, our single tickets go live in case you're not ready to be a season ticket holder yet.
- And I wanna talk more about the performers again.
You guys have an eclectic array of performers, right?
- Absolutely.
We have Charly Lowry coming this year, Nobuntu, and this spring, we also have Gangstagrass.
So really just a huge mix to bring to Utah Valley.
- And I know it's hard to choose one, but which one are you most excited to check out?
- Absolutely, so I'm a Broadway fan at heart, so maybe Jessica Vosk, maybe Hubbard Street in the spring.
But really, I'm excited to see everything at The Noorda this year - And possibly maybe meet some of the stars?
- Oh, I'm hoping so.
So our artists are really engaging with our community, so they always like to pop in and say hi.
So definitely come check out The Noorda this year.
- Absolutely.
Well, thank you so much for being here and for joining us today.
- Thank you.
- If you would like to learn more about the shows and how to get tickets, the website's right there on your screen, uvu.edu/thenoorda.
