Muralist V. Kim Martinez uses her craft to teach, to learn, and invest in her community.

A muralist and political artist, V. Kim Martinez was motivated to understand how power structures impact the disadvantaged. For Kim, art is both a way to have a voice and to share a dialogue with others. Herself inspired by the Mexican muralists of the 20th Century, Kim now inspires the next generation — empowering others to connect with their communities and tell their own stories through art.
