We collect and preserve and share artifacts from the entire area.
This hallway has mostly, Virginia related items such as specifically the gardens that used to be here.
And then if we come up and make a right hand turn, will be in the lumber and logging room, which is a permanent exhibit.
it's very interesting to see, how this place developed in the earliest times just before mining started.
So this room and the glass cases are all rotating exhibits, and, currently we have a lot of items from the local high school because, Eveleth, Gilbert and Virginia joined together at Rock Ridge, High Schools this, last year.
And we have a lot of items from the old schools.
Small museums, like the Virginia Area Historical Society are important to preserve the history of an area so that, so that we don't forget where we come from, The slice from PBS North,
