We're the only botanical garden north of the Twin Cities' Como Conservatory.
Well, they started early in 1930.
Building and property is owned by the city of Virginia but we as the nonprofit, manage and maintain all of the plants.
We're strictly volunteers.
We just have a really, a wide variety of plants.
Some of them are reaching all the way to the ceiling.
We do have a little pond, I should say, that has some koi and some fantail goldfish in as well.
(soft upbeat music) We have one area that is mainly for the cacti.
Oh, it's gorgeous in here.
Anybody can come in and just bring a book if you want, bring a lunch.
Just come with friends and just come in and relax and enjoy it and it's just a great spot.
