Visual artist, Jason S. Yi explores the balance between the modern world and nature.
Jason S. Yi saw his world change overnight. As a child he and his family immigrated to the United States from South Korea. The culture shock was swift and dramatic. Yi's father was a trained artist, he learned how to paint in Japan. He would mostly paint landscapes. Seeing how his father created something beautiful out of nothing was monumental for a young Jason.
