NJ expands program pairing cops with mental health experts

Program designed to address the relationship between mental health and policing
To cut down on police-involved shootings, acting Attorney General Matt Platkin on Monday announced the expansion of a program that helps law enforcement respond to behavioral health crises. The ARRIVE Together program pairs plain-clothed state troopers with licensed mental health professionals to respond together to 911 calls.
