NJ Supreme Court Justice Barry Albin retires

Three of the state Supreme Court’s seven seats will now be vacant

Wednesday is the last day on the bench for New Jersey Supreme Court Associate Justice Barry Albin. His tenure ends Thursday when he turns 70 years old, the mandatory retirement age for the court. Albin was nominated to his post by former Gov. Jim McGreevey and is considered to be the most liberal of the justices.
