Former NJ governor said US must stand ‘shoulder to shoulder’ with Israel
Former NJ Gov. Chris Christie on Sunday visited Israel, where he toured a kibbutz destroyed in the Oct. 7 attack by Hamas militants. “I came here because I wanted to see this for myself,” Christie, a Republican presidential hopeful, said during the tour. He said he backed Israel’s rejection of a cease-fire in the Gaza Strip, even as international pressure for a cease-fire mounts.
