The Office of the Secretary of Higher Education surveyed thousands of students

Although many college students are back on campus this year after COVID-19-related closures last year, 70% of New Jersey students say they’re dealing with more mental health and financial stress than ever before. The toll is greater on minority students, who lost jobs during the pandemic at higher rates than their white counterparts.
