Judges, law enforcement can keep certain personal information out of public records

A new online portal opens Tuesday offering more security for judges, prosecutors and other law enforcement officials, giving them the ability to have certain personal information kept from public record. The portal is part of Daniel’s Law, signed by Gov. Phil Murphy in 2020, following the tragic death of Daniel Anderl,  the son of U.S. District Judge Esther Salas and her husband Mark Anderl.
