State officials urge all residents, businesses to voluntarily conserve water

New Jersey’s drought has worsened. According to the latest information released by the National Drought Mitigation Center, 92% of the Garden State is now abnormally dry. Moderate drought conditions are prevalent in just over half the state (51%); that’s an increase from 32% of the state a week ago. Drought conditions are now severe in 12% of the state.
