Golf club banned women from becoming members, alleges NJ AG

The state Attorney General’s office this week filed a civil rights complaint against Pine Valley Golf Club, alleging gender-based discrimination by unlawfully banning women from becoming members. Also, restricting their access to facilities and the golf course and preventing them from leasing or buying homes on club land, unless they did so with a man.
