Division of Consumer Affairs said centers sometimes give false or misleading information
A group of so-called crisis pregnancy centers argued in court Tuesday that a recent state warning alleging the centers engage in deceptive practices is a "misinformed and unwarranted assault" that "unfairly tarnishes their reputations." The pregnancy centers are requesting documents from the state that provide the basis for the consumer alert.
