One of the two men who carried out a bizarre "murder for hire plot" on a Jersey City political operative has been sentenced to 20 years in federal prison. Federal judge John Vazquez Thursday sentenced Bomani Africa for his role in the 2014 murder of Michael Galdieri, which the judge called "one of the most unusual and heinous crimes" he’s ever encountered.
