Gov. Phil Murphy's proposed budget includes an increase in relief to undocumented residents in NJ who missed out on federal pandemic relief. Murphy is proposing a one-time, $53 million fund that would give a $500 benefit to such residents. The fund would build on the Excluded New Jerseyans Fund, which received more than 35,000 applications for grants of up to $4,000 before expiring Feb. 28.
