(Music) We are here tonight at EFCE's Transportation Night.
Transportation Night is a very popular event throughout the state in early childhood programs.
It's an exciting event for families to get to see the garbage truck that comes every day.
You get to climb up in it just full of conversation, language, literacy, community.
It's it's all the pieces coming together early literacy skills is communication.
It's language literacy.
It's back and forth communication.
And what a better place to do that than, who gets to drive this?
What color is that?
I wonder how much this weighs?
That's the beginning of of kids eventually, you know, reading by third grade.
Volunteering.
It's all about community.
We can't educate kids by ourselves.
We feel very fortunate that so many people, so many vehicles, so many businesses, so many people are taking their personal time to bring a vehicle here tonight.
It's really important that we all do this together.
