Let's talk about mail-in ballots.

First thing you need to know: mail-In ballots are sent out to each active.

Nevada voter.

So if you are an active voter, guess what?

You're getting one.

If you don't want to receive a mail ballot, no problem whatsoever.

Just opt out by going to Vote.NV.gov and click on updat my existing voter registration and update your mail-in ballot preference.

Here's how it works.

When you do get your mail-in ballot, fill out your ballot with a blue or black pen.

Slip it into the secrecy sleeve.

Yes, that is what it's called.

Put the secrecy sleeve with the ballot into the provided envelope, which already has a paid postage, so no need to go looking for a stamp.

Now seal and sign the outside of your ballot.

Quick note your signature on the ballot envelope will be checked against the signature on your voter registration rolls, so make sure you sign your best.

Now you can simply drop the envelope in the mail, make sure it gets a post office stamp on or before Election Day.

That's very important.

Or drop it off at a designated polling station during early voting or on election day.

Remember, it is not allowed to put someone else's ballot in the same mailing envelope as yours.

Each ballot must be in its own separate envelope.

Additionally, while some people have expressed concerns, there is no evidence of widespread fraud in Nevada's election history.

Not according to the Nevada Secretary of State's office and election officials across the state.
