[Music] uh hi I'm Wald hamburger um right and then um This song is called do crimes I Feel Like a Stranger nowhere you've never heard me sing you become my new favorite dream the darkness backens every day but your rise protect me you become my new favorite Dream well my brain says that love is dead and has long forgotten me well you run laps inside my head I'll try and get some sleep it's been so long since I wrote a song that felt this real to me me my dear you have become my new favorite dream drink till close and do some crimes we own the city it's 300 a.m. and you're still out with me the Winter's here Freez everything come sit closer to me you become my new favorite [Music] dream my brain says that love is dead and has long forgotten me well you run laps inside my head I'll try and get some sleep it's been so long since I'm I wrote a song that felt this real to me my dear you have become my new favorite [Music] dream [Music] I don't know what's ahead of us I'm sure that it's not me your heart deserves to be free I miss your lips and when we kissed your taste stayed with me you become my new favorite dream my brain says that love is dead and is long forgotten me well you run laps inside my head I'll try and get some sleep it's been so long since I wrote a song that meant a godamn thing my dear you have become my new favorite dream my dear you have become my new favorite this is cheesy um most of my songs are pretty sad this one is a love song I met a girl I'm still with her we just celebrated our three-year anniversary uh two days ago I wrote this song three days after our first date I just felt like I knew in that moment that she was like more important than the average I don't know how to say this without sounding stupid but um so it's it's literally just a straight up uh re uh recanting recount whatever the night and um and how I felt about her in that moment and it was good too because that was early in the pandemic and uh as a musician life felt pretty hopeless live shows didn't seem like they were anywhere in the near future and writing I didn't want to be like every other person in the world and three years later we're all writing about how we couldn't go outside that one year so it was a really nice thing for me to have this immediate like inspiration to write again and I think I even have that in the course it's like it's been so long since I even felt like writing a song like this so it's just a love song about my girlfriend
