The Walton Raiders getting ready to take on the McEachern.
Indians, the question is, are you ready for some more football?
We've seen one great game already in the Battle of big chicken.
I now toss it up to the broadcast Booth to the two guys who are going to call this second game for us.
Guilt Arie and Tate Rave.
Daniel take it away fellas.
Alright Marky Mark's.
Thank you we say good evening to you and yours and we hope and trust you're having a great Labor Day The football is on us here on GPB guilt.
Tyree along with Tracy McDaniel.
I think Trey.
We're going to be hard pressed to duplicate.
What Lassiter and Hillgrove gave us in game one, but here we go in game two, two teams who played last week in the Corky Kell and one with a victory.
One was not.
Let's start with the one.
With a victory who happens to be wearing the number one and wall Traders and mr. Tyrone Jones.
Yeah, tire.
And Jones put on quite a show last week.
Gil 303 yards versus Brookwood five.
Touchdowns three of them went Or more than 48 yards.
We all know about his accolades.
Last year, he led the state and rushing.
He's headed to the University of Alabama.
He's going to try to put on an encore performance here tonight.
He'll be the focal point.
No doubt for the Walton offense.
He better be the focal point for McEachern defense or it could be a long night for the Indian side.
We speak about the after I mention Indians and of course Kyle Hockman and company gave the Grayson Rams.
All they could handle.
Really took the defending 5A state, champs to the mat, pretty much for two and a half quarters.
But tonight they have to do the same.
But a little bit more and get a victory.
Yeah.
And they're going to look to their quarterback tie Clemens.
He's actually their backup quarterback in to come in the game last week against Grayson because Ty Griffin, the starter got hurt and all he did was rack up 228 yards of offense against maybe the best defense in the state of Georgia.
Coach Hockman calls him kind of an RG3 type.
He won't compare him to him, but he says he has great athleticism bad athleticism combined with this Pistol offense here for McEachern.
It could be a very long night for the defense for Walton because that's the one aspect of the game.
That coach Hidalgo.
It's not quite comfortable with.
All right, these two teams played back in 2003 and Walton won the game 6:39.
Let's unlock the keys to tonight's game tray McDaniel.
What do you see first on McEachern cell, right?
If you go to the McEachern side, they've gotta be strong up the middle on defense.
It's a 335.
So they're looking for their nose, tackle, their middle linebacker and their free safety to be the guys that make the plays for McEachern in addition to that.
They have to establish a rhythm on the offense because although the pistol offense isn't predicated on driving the ball.
Gotta keep number one on the sidelines, all right, and on the other side with Rocky Hidalgo and the Walton, Raiders their keys to success tonight.
Well, their keys to success, they've got to stay out of an unfavorable down in distance because Tyrone Jones is a weapon but on Third and long McEachern might be able to pin their ears back and Rush the quarterback, you don't want that.
If you're the Walton, Raiders Jones has to be part of the game plan.
Also they got to stop the big plays from Going the Distance.
A doggo says, if we can line up and play another down and not give up the touchdown, we got a chance.
All right, so the stage is set for what should be Be a very entertaining a game to we go downstairs right now, you take a look at head coach, Rocky Hidalgo, and of course, Rocky Hidalgo and Company are very sky-high about tonight's game here in Powder Springs.
Are you see Rocky Hidalgo talking to his team right now?
And of course, Trey McDaniel, you know, you look at this football game here tonight and we want to thank our good friends for the keys to success tonight.
Who have sponsored tonight's key success, the keys to the game, brought to you, by our good friends, at Johnny's Pizza.
But you know, in terms of Rocky Hidalgo and what he's accomplished, and we had a chance to talk to him on the, on the conference call this week.
I mean, same approach, you know, full steam ahead focused and out for win.
Number two on the.
Yeah.
He was in rare form this week, he never sugar coach things, but he was, especially fired up this week because it seemed like maybe it's some point during the week off.
He'd had some people.
Doubt his game plan about turning around, and heading the ball, the tire and Jones 30 times.
But he says, literally, and I quote, it would be dumb not to do that, and I tend to agree with him.
Alright, McEachern has won the toss and elected to receive and back deep among those at Triumph or it, for the Indians tonight.
Kyle Hockman will be Mike Sherman and also Ryan Sherman and kicking off for the Walton Raiders tonight, as he did last week, and did an outstanding job for them will be Anthony price.
And we are underway here at Powder Springs at sales out of the end zone.
So McEachern will take over and the first intend that they're all 20 downstairs to the third member of tonight's Group.
Ron Thom here on GPB.
He's a prime, Tom play up Jon Nelson, Mellie, it's all yours.
Thank you GT.
Let's do a quick quarterback update.
I Griffin still out still injured injured in the first quarter of the game at the Georgia, Dome last week.
He did some light running to Days ago, if it's an emergency situation, Kyle Hockman said he would give it a go.
There really aren't any a real implications because we're still in the preseason schedule.
As Hockman says, he always wants to have a philosophy, they're good enough to play.
You're going to find a way to play and the putter.
Chase Jones will be your backup tonight back upstairs and Chase Jones, a three generation third generation athlete here at McEachern and that is Clemens.
Clemens gets over the 30-yard line about up to the 31.
Gain of a 12.
Automatic again for staff.
Gill they go.
They go right back to the.
Well, what they did last last week as we see the guys that are going to be blocking form and the skill position guys here for the McEachern.
Indians for seniors returning for Coach Coughlin and we take a look at the back field and of course just an outstanding crew their love okay.
It was an outstanding senior quite a tight end caught a touchdown last week in the lost.
The Grayson at passes complete and complete over there to t.j. around me.
And he gets close to a first down.
You take a look at the radar defense.
The 34 love Cavallo, Carl Whitaker played.
Well, last week, the linebackers mans was outstanding last week, the leading tackler, and loved rayon Williams, and then the secondary, and you like just as Bailey, Kobe Billings play Big last week in the win over Brookwood.
So that's swept our lineups look here tonight, scoreless early on here at Powder Springs Walton.
Against McEachern and the key and the give and straight ahead into Walton territory.
Is that man?
Again Ty, Clements follows left guard and you take a look at the replay a game of 21st down another first down, for the Indian stray, this is what you want.
If you're a mceachin fan of the coaching staff is you want Thai Clemens in space.
He got the early pressure up the middle by number 42, the linebacker Jordan.
Burgess he just turned something into nothing like he did.
So often last week, it's another first down and they're in Walton territory.
First and Ten at the 41 Clemens, looking over the right side and throws in the past incomplete and out of bounds.
This helps the Walton defense guilt for just a second because it's been Bam, Bam, Bam, Bam with this pistol offense for the first time, we got to play an incomplete pass Walton can reform their defense a little bit and catch their breath.
The intended receiver, the AAU Sprinter Deluxe Taj Gibson, that'll bring up a second and long.
The ball at the 40 11:40.
11:14 in the opening quarter in game, two of the big chicken here in Powder Springs.
I give turning the corner.
I'm looking for a touchdown.
He's at the 20, 15, 10 5, stitches way inside the 5 down to about 24 and that is number seven for the Indians.
And Taj Griffin, take a look at the replay tray, tie Clemens has to hustle to get the ball into the belly of Taj Griffin and we see why the coach is so enamored with him.
He just turns on the afterburner and it's not, if it's not for a shoelace.
By the Junior DJ Smith and that would have been a touchdown for sure.
All right.
Dana of 36 first and goal at the for And they give straight ahead and in for the touchdown number 14.
And that is Mike Sherman, 6-nothing handling?
The extra point will make it 7.
Nothing mceachin.
Draws First Blood right down the field trained mechanic.
Yeah, if you're the Walton defense and if you're coach a dog or you are not happy with the way your defense came out, we mentioned it at the top of the coach a dog.
Oh that's the one Unity, wasn't quite sure about.
He had some some fears coming into this game and we see why a quick six points for the McEachern Indians.
That's exactly what their offense is designed to do.
Dennis Dominguez on for the extra point.
There was souls and flags and we'll do it again.
Five plays 80 yards.
The elapsed time a minute and nine that is getting it done.
See the procedure penalty so they'll try it again.
And lining up and getting ready to make it a seven, nothing ballgame is again.
The after mention Dennis Dominguez, 510 170 pound Junior, the snap the kick is up, it just gets through the uprights and it is good.
So seven, nothing.
You get a look at Kyle Hockman, the head coach of the McEachern, Indians and talking to his players, the technical college system.
Touchdown replay our good friends there, let's take a look at this tree McDaniel.
You call it.
Yeah Taj Griffin, their most talented back as far as speed and athleticism and then they follow it up with their work horse here and snapping it directly to Griffin in the Wildcat and he plunges in for the first points of the day.
We're going to have to regroup on offense.
The good news for To know is they have an answer of their own entire and Jones and he'll be taking the field here shortly, alright an opportunity for tyrant Jones to get something done and you see the scoring drive.
And of course, we talked about it earlier, five plays 81 yards, elapsed time of 1 minute and nine seconds and Technical College system's of Georgia, not sponsoring that drive here tonight, seven nothing.
The Indians out in front of number three, Walter.
Chris.
Okay we'll kick and back to receive for the Walton.
Raiders, you were coming off the win over Brookwood the last week, our tire and Jones and DJ Smith, there nestled their their own 15.
So okay, we'll put it off and is Indians lead.
Nothing a little pooch.
Kick it, kick it out of Bounds, at about the 25.
We'll try it all over again.
Tracy McDaniel, smart move kick away from them slow.
Absolutely.
If they watched any of last week's game, you try to minimize Tyron Jones touches as much as possible and you're even willing to take a penalty and kick the ball out of bounds to keep it out of him.
So his hands 10:51 and they opening quarter here.
And we welcome you to gpb's exclusive coverage of the big chicken at Cantrell Stadium.
You just joined this earlier tonight, it was Lassiter.
Holdin on holdin on holdin on too.
And we do not think that was the case.
After the first quarter, we thought it was.
It was over right?
37.
Nothing.
That was off to Hillgrove for.
I'm sticking in the ball game and making it a one possession game there.
Yeah.
Exactly.
And they scored 29 unanswered points and lose by the cab of 37 2.
And Eddie prison company will go back with a victory.
I'm sure put your 18 happy about that.
No, absolutely not.
When you got your foot on the gas pedal just want to keep accelerating and they let their foot off just a little bit and I will Groves a good enough team that they answer back.
Okay, we'll try again at his own 35, he splits it on the ground and he'll be taken by Smith at is 15.
Jukes over the 2025 I've and is tackled are gets close to the 30 yard line and and on a stop for for the Indians is fits Watley.
And here we see Parker McLeod who's going to the University of Alabama.
He wasn't even a talking point during last week's game because of how well his running back played, but McLeod is quite a diamond in the rough.
If you talk to coach Hidalgo, he says he's the Most underrated player in the entire State and he hopes, he remains that way and gets overlooked because he thinks he's got the capability to win them, some football games this year First and Ten for the Walton.
Raiders at their own 29.
They Trail 7.
Nothing.
You see the man in motion that is Jones and the give again, it's to Jones.
He straight over the 30 up to about the 35 and he falls flat there and among those on the top telling me tackle Glenn Frazier, one of the linebackers as The McEachern Indians play that 35.
You see the numbers for mr. Jones.
Last week, 30 carries 303 yards and five, touchdowns pray.
And that's no typos.
And we mentioned at the top three of those five touchdowns were runs over 48 yards second and six at the 37 7.
Nothing is a as we told you earlier McEachern with the early score courtesy of Pittman for the touchdown.
Some of those run skill we're just downright amazing.
We got caught several times just as Spectators just watching him do his thing.
One of the most talented backside ever seen at the high school level Correct that the touchdown was by Mike Sherman.
So Grayson 35, Miami Central, 32 top five teams in the country and of course, Grayson ranked number one, the really unloading on Miami Central and that game up at Grayson tonight.
The past from McLeod to Green is incomplete.
So they'll try it again.
9:53 in the opening quarter.
Guilt sorry, tree McDaniel and John Nelson here tonight?
Glad to have you with us on a Labor Day weekend football on GPB.
So the good thing here for Walton, Gil is your whole Playbook is open to you specifically, the ones that have number one sketched in because it's third and one third, and one at the 37 McLeod, see the man in motion and the give is to Jones.
He goes over the right side, over the 4045 close to Midfield and when the kitchen territory and brought down at about the McEachern 47 yard line.
Gil.
It's a Walton, first down and a heck of a run by Tyrant Jones kudos to his offensive line.
We threw a lot of bouquets of them last week as well because they just did such a great job.
He gets so many yards before contact.
But the good news there for Coach Hockman is he really wants his defense to gang tackle and swarmed with the ball.
And although it was downfield, his team did a good job of doing so on that play.
Let's go again, it gets over the 45 down close to about the 43.
And kill a guy that we love seeing your.
Brandon Cubano is 15 yards down the field, making a block on that play.
Go into the whistle And of course, the commit, the going to University of Georgia love this kid and he's a definitely friend of the program and we love him here on GPB.
We mentioned last week that he was the only unanimous first-team All-State or last year.
Again, 15.
Then that's a second and four at the 42 Truesdale on the on the stop for McEachern.
Fumbled snap, but regained by McLeod still loses it, and is able to pounce on it, but a loss of at least five to eight yards and moves it right back to Midfield.
That's a big play for the defense, although they didn't have much to do with that.
Justin Pendleton, the junior outside linebacker was there to recover it, had McLeod, not Fallen back on it.
He tried, it was designed to be a handoff ended up having to shovel it a little bit to tire and Jones.
That was a good job by McLeod to get back on that.
But here's what we talked about in our keys, this is not the Down and distance that the offense for Walton really thrives in because it takes your best player out of the equation.
And now it's on MacLeod shoulder.
A loss of seven May brings up a third and 11 at the 49 McLeod, plenty of time and has an intended receiver at the 40 yard line and the person of number 22, Ryan Craig in the pass is incomplete.
That'll bring up a punting situation.
Watch McLeod here, plenty of time in the Pocket shows that zip on his arm That coach Saban like so much but an even better play in the defensive backfield by the junior Corner.
Ramona Parsons He got His Hand in there and played wonderful defense right there.
They'll take that all night.
You see the offensive coordinator in the outstanding offensive coordinator for Walter trip.
Alan a good friend of ours and of course his dad many great years at Brookwood High and over and Punt and a fair catch cold at approximately, That lead the 22-yard line.
And the D train will take over first and 10 right there.
Let's take a look at the Indian resume tray and what they've accomplished so far.
Boy, it's a good one.
What a storied program region champions in 2009.
They have 14 of those Gill 22 College signees in the past two years.
First second round of parents since 1999 and 2010.
This is the most astounding stat of all they won, nine or more games from 1985 to 1999.
And, of course, that was due in large part to coach, Jimmy Dorsey, who still very much part of this program supports them.
Very much.
He passed the torch to coach Hockman and hawkman's done a wonderful job in his own, right?
Ty Clemens with the football and they give was to number 23, Kenya and Johnson gain of about about to like it s in about eight and they've got to do that Gil.
Just to keep Waltons, defense honest, you want Thai Clemens to touch the ball as much as possible but you also have to salvage him.
You've got a capable backup quarterback but he is your punter and got to keep him fresh and you don't really want him coming into the football game.
You're already down at quarterback.
Will give us the constant again.
Turning a corner and gets nowhere and a good friend Blake.
Monson's on the stop, it'll be a loss of about two boy.
What a game did he have last kill four and a half sacks versus Brookwood?
Coach Hockman calls him.
The go-to guy on defense.
He said of a big place going to come from our defense.
It's most likely going to be monts 61 170 pounds.
He plays about 50 pounds heavier than that and he is definitely the best player they have on defense.
He showed it last week.
Whatever IP call him Rocky.
Duggan said he's a football player, he's a lot like Terry McDaniel, when Trey, Has in his great years at Brookwood.
650, I think opening quarter here Powder Springs quick, snap Clemens on the roll and look for receiver, enhancing their, but he loses the football after he got mailed and great stick by Kobe Billings and the pastimes incomplete.
That was intended for Elijah Van Dorn and the flag on a play.
Early on here at McEachern.
At Cantrell stadium and what a physical complex they have here.
And we'll all always happy to come out here to wonderful hospitality by coach Dorsey and his outstanding staff, a look at the replay and the penalty is declined by Walton.
Mr. Billings on a stick and McEachern will have to punt and back to receive will be Jones and Smith for the Raiders and they're back at their own 45 too dangerous guys, kill standing near Midfield.
Chase Jones is a third-generation number of the McEachern Athletic program of the pump and it takes its and it's taken by Jones.
And he has stood up there by a horde of McEachern, Indians of 43-yard Punt.
And first, attend the Walton, Raiders will take over at their own 41.
Great kick coverage Gil by a guy, we're going to be mentioning all night long for McEachern.
He's their starting free safety and that's Don't farm.
He did a great job of hemming Tyrant Jones in.
They move that young man from strong safety to free safety this week, just to keep him open and off of blocks so that he can be the guy that kind of Shadows Tyron Jones, so that'll be a little cat and mouse game.
We see tonight tell Barham against I Jones and they opened the only returning started to and drag got an offer from from Troy.
And we're going to take a look at the Walton offense after this break and play.
By Jones gets over the 40 yard line, close to the 45 and a flag on the play.
Let's Take a look at the Walton.
Raiders offense brought to you by our good friends at a Regions Bank and of course poblano and Griffin Wilkinson and Jake Boynton returned to the lineup you like Jake boiling the whole lot and then it's backfill.
The aforementioned Tyrant Jones and a kid, I love a great deal.
Stone, Romberg love Henry rallying as well, and of course, 73 is Boynton and good to have him back at it head injury and they, you know, wanted to use that concussion protocol Trailer Load of concern.
Absolutely, they call it the hit injury protocol that coach wouldn't necessarily diagnose him with a concussion but he wasn't cleared to play last week and I don't want to say they didn't miss a guy that's headed to play football in the SEC, but they didn't miss a guy headed to play football in the SEC.
They just did that.
Well last week on the offensive line, Filling in for him last week was John France need to heck of a job but you've got two guys at right tackle and left tackle that are going to play football in the SEC.
And oh by the way, your quarterback and running back or both headed to Bama.
This offense is so formidable, they're going to.
They're just going to give people nightmares this year as they run through their region.
These two teams met back in 03, 20 17 Walton victorious in that game and currently trailing right now.
7-nothing first in first in a long 20, after the whole that their own 33 seen, a man in motion and the give is to Jones turning the corner.
He has open space.
He's in the 4045 in the Midfield still moving.
He's at the 35.
67 yards and Jones.
I'm speechless.
We saw this so much last week and McEachern has had a chance to watch that game and study the Tendencies and study the film.
We see the replay here by technical college system of Georgia.
Again, we just caught just in all of this young man, Mike Sherman, the out Linebacker comes up and does his job.
Bill, he sets the corner so that his other linebacking counterparts can come up.
Make the tackle, the problem is, they're not there, they're not home and he gets down field, he puts a move on somebody and that's all she wrote one more.
Look at the touchdown and it was a beaut one.
It was a beautiful one Jones, all the nights for Carriage 81 yards and Rush we're tied at 7 here at Powder Springs.
We'll be right back.

Back here in Powder Springs 7, all courtesy of the run, the touchdown around, 57 yards behind that man, mama, that's a bad man.
Isn't he goes over to the sideline and camps out right beside the guy that always makes it possible for him and that's cute blonde.
Oh, those guys have got to be best friends.
One play 57 yards.
Time of possession.
38 seconds, crazy.
I don't good friends from the technical college system's of the great state of Georgia.
Adding those stats.
And of course, the great highlight 57 yards and just like that Tyron Jones has answered the Sherman touchdown from the kitchen and we're tied at seven 552 here in the opening quarter.
Let's take it.
The take a look at the rate of resume and got a lot on that resume.
Yeah, I mean, it's getting better by the year.
Of course, there were the runners-up last year to Grayson 14 game winning streak was the longest in school history?
The only blemish on that record was that lost in the title game?
Seven region titles.
This is impressive, Gil.
Five of the last eight years, they did make the semi-finals of few times.
Of course, Ed Dudley really set this program in motion who's now down at Ware County and 30 College signees in the last four years, that is also impressive.
Guy right here.
One of the most fun guys that you'll ever have a conversation with Rocky Hidalgo, one of our favorites.
And there he is right there and very candid.
And of course, seeing his lovely wife Kelly at three, wonderful kids.
And of course, he's a great dad as well, and keeping it straight ahead as Clemens and he gets over, 220 up to about the 21 at big offensive line for teacher for seniors, come in and been leaders.
Absolutely.
And Gil.
This is where their advantages and Even coach Hidalgo submitted this when we talked to him he said they're more.
They're bigger and more athletic up front.
They averaged 279 pounds across the offensive line.
That's definitely where their advantage lies tonight.
Clemens locked and loaded finds the receiver there in the slot of the pass is complete to Elijah and or fangorn and let's stay and let you see it.
Look at Delaney and of course, come committing to Maryland and he's a big in his Big Boy, 64 290 pounds on the opposite side from him is a sophomore.
Chuma, a toga 63.
275, we coach Hockman says it's probably before.
It's all said and done going to be the best lineman he's ever coached, throw it in the corner right there and getting in the open field is Taj Griffin.
Slips past the tackler gets close to the 40 yard line.
And again, over there, the suspects for the Walton defense mods and Peru.
and, Just a whole lot of guys in Pursuit and making that tackle for the Walton.
Raiders here tonight.
Smith among those, you see chumma.
He's a big into, like I said for seniors, which is huge sophomore.
He's a sophomore in a but we go along with the seniors.
Are you go that have been part of that.
Out of the shotgun.
And completed pass over there from Clemens and his wide receiver over there.
In number 19 is Malik Williams and of course, Malik Williams.
We've heard a lot about him just a game breaker, great athlete and Coach Hockman spoke highly of him on a conference call.
Yeah, he says the tall lanky guy great hands.
He said, he is by far in the passing game.
Our number one guy and right now.
Their number one guy to me is Taj Griffin.
He's having to come off the field and take a little bit of a break when a dynamic player I'm looking for.
More him.
His Fred look, second and three at the 40 and the gave his to your Sherman and he gets that bottled up and you see over there, making the stop number 42.
Dre on Williams, and Rich Gibson over there as well.
Rich Gibson had a great game last week as well.
Gil, this is a huge play for the Walton defense because it's second down and short and now you keep that momentum from moving forward and put them in no man's land in the third and three third, and four area.
I say right now.
It's Thai, Clemens time.
Get a look at coach Hockman at third and four and rolling out his Clemens and he is shooting one long.
The intended receiver is William, Spycrab glance at 2:30 and Hall of down down to about the 28th of Walton.
The Tackle made by TJ, rahming.
Bootleg for Clemens, he just kind of airs it out, kind of an errant pass.
May be ill-advised, but when you get those kind of results, the sophomore goes up over the defender, gets the ball at the highest point.
That's what you're taught to do.
What a great grabs last week.
One catch for one yard, he's already surpassed that here this week, 34 yard third, 34 yard game of first down and First, and Ten at the 29, Ramen, with the catch Clemens in the shotgun.
The give the keeper is Wins over the 25, 20 heads, a blocker gets down to about the 21 yard line and is forced out of bounds over there.
And gain of about seven.
You'll that was actually Jake, Boynton the guy who's back from injury primarily who plays on offense, actually in the back field forcing Clemens to skate outside on that play.
But the athleticism of Thai Clemens is just too much.
I really like what I see out of this junior, Can you see a hold right there?
And that's why this one's coming back.
First and Ten at the 29 and they'll bring it back Tre.
I think the penalty was on monts.
First and Ten at the 29, Clemens leading, his McEachern Indians up to the line of scrimmage.
And of course we're tied at 7 2:43 in the opening quarter.
Clemens and the give straight ahead and stumbling is Sherman down to about the 20.
And among those on the stop was rich Gibson for Walton gain of about three tray, Gil.
I like the one-two punch here.
That McEachern off offers actually a one-two-three Punch, If you include Taj Griffin.
But when you have Clements Griffin and Sherman all on the field, the defense can't key on any one, particular guy.
And I like, I like what they're doing here and they're doing what they intended to do coming into the game and their sustaining a Dr. Grossman behind Clements, and that's to give the Griffin turning the corner.
21.
Again, still on his feet slipped, or beta tablet.
Touchdown.
By Griffin touchdown the teacher and a flag at the end on the celebration and Gil, we saw that same celebration in the previous game and it got flagged as well, it should not a big fan of that but what a remarkable run by Taj Griffin and believe it or not coach Hockman says that this guy hasn't even come into his own as a football player yet, he's just going on here.
At lettuce is mmm, but he has that in some despair.
Watch this right here.
Just breaking ankles out there on the defense could have done without the flip.
But what a great run and flip got him a penalty to a flag was thrown after the play.
I guess we'll try to give them a 14-7 lead with 157 left in the opening quarter and what has been and now you see them walking off the penalty, right there?
After the except sex.
Excessive celebration on that gentleman.
It's diving Taj Gibson, Taj Griffin.
In the end zone.
And they're going to try again, not believe.
Eve's that Walton has the choice here of either, taking the penalty on the p80 or enforcing it on the kickoff.
They have opted to enforce it on the PA team Dominguez.
And he is no good and Gil.
I mean I hate to I hate to harp on it when the young man cost his team a point and right now in a back and forth, Affair every single point counts, great Point.
Great point nine plays 80 yards the elapsed time 358 and of course, Technical College system's of Georgia.
Brings you the scoring drive and of course, our highlights here tonight, on the touchdown on plays, 80 yards.
So, the elapsed time 3058, you see the numbers on Tosh?
Even three carrots, 54 yards and a touchdown.
And currently the McEachern Indians lead by 13, 7 a touchdown by Sherman Early and now touch it touch down by Griffin.
Yep.
And we've yet to see Clemens actually are not talk.
The rock a little bit when he's inside the Red Zone, he's letting his backs handle it.
Kudos still the Taj Griffin.
Although we're not a fan of the celebration, what a great run the kids.
Only a sophomore so much more to come for him.
Hopefully, he'll mature and we'll be making those mistakes in the a couple of seasons.
Let's take a look.
If the Indian schedule, of course, Grayson the laws and out tonight.
Won't what do they have in front of them.
Right?
Well, if you fast forward past the team that won the state championship last year and the runner-up, we don't know the last time if that's ever happened that a team has come out to start the season and played the defending state championship in the runner.
If you got to go all the way down to the bottom that Harrison game and that he'll grow game, those are going to determine what happens with McEachern season this this year.
All right, Tyrant Jones.
And Smith are back.
Deep to receive the kick from a Dominguez and 13-7 and like Trey said that boxed a point after is going to loom large for McEachern.
Acquittal enlarged in this football game here tonight 157 in the opening quarter.
Chris.
Okay.
Pooches it and it'll go out of Bounds at about the 35 yard line, it stays in bounds, and I'ma tell you some folks the way it looks down there, that's an onside kick, and it is, and it's recovered by McEachern.
It stayed in bounds and it was quite recovered by Jordan.
Birds that is a heads-up play, because it's not intended to be an onside kick.
It's intended just to be a pooch kick to keep the ball out a tire and Jones.
And one of the McEachern players jumps up as it's going out of bounds and tips.
It back in bounds, as long as his foot, is not out of bounds.
That is a legal play, like, you'd see in basketball if his foots, not on the ground and we can't go back and look at the replay.
So what's done is done?
Watch him.
Take off.
Not inbounds.
That's a bad call.
David Phillips is the one that's David Phillips.
Dre, they kept it alive and it's too late now.
They recovered it.
They've awarded to McEachern a heads-up, play nonetheless, but not the right call by the official First and Ten at the 30.
Men's the Gimp to Sherman.
He's over 230 spins his way over the 25 down to about the 24.
Got some chippy nostalgic feelings, among those on the stop for Walton and there's chip Enos you just called a tray and flags have been called and DJ Smith in the middle of it.
To ya Smith had his helmet knocked off and then retaliated, we'll see.
Which got flagged the first and fraction or the second.
And of course, it's always a possibility for the old offsetting penalties, will see two touchdowns so far for McEachern and this football game here tonight courtesy of Sherman and Griffin and the point after failed in the second touchdown.
And it's 13-7 right now.
Waltons, touchdown, courtesy of mr. Jones, 457 yards.
We got a scrum tray on a Friday night, huh?
On GPB.
Yeah, they're mixing it up over there.
Well, that's Malik Williams, The Talented wide receiver against the best defensive back.
So that's a number one, versus number one.
And there's a meeting of the minds down there, by the 25 yard line.
And they're going to, they're going to say that it's against Malik Williams, Rocky Hidalgo, not happy.
Pictures could tell it all.
Well, he's probably still steaming from the onside kick to be honest with you.
And this is just a holdover of that little frustration setting in for the Walton.
Raiders.
It's got a park now.
Hockman of course, College came over, a few years back from Campbell what a job.
He's done over here.
Powder Springs at McEachern.
Two penalties.
And the total yards on there right now, 155 for McEachern tray, and 71 for Walton.
So it looks like they have Called a hold on McEachern and then they've added the personal foul to it.
So, all in all you've got a 25 yard penalty.
It doesn't quite take the sting out of the, you know, what ended up being an onside kick, but it certainly helps Walton and pushing the kitchen back to the Midfield.
Mark that will make it first and 35 very long.
The ball smack, dab at Midfield, Grayson has defeated Miami Central.
35 3, Drake, 35 3, Mickey Conn, and Tim Vici property, getting it done as if they needed more.
Hi Clemens with the snap decided to eat the football and takes a loss, and great penetration, and Carl Whitaker.
Among those on the stop a loss of about, probably about a good five, so that'll make it second and 40 at the 45.
Yeah.
Dre on Williams in there as well.
Drown Williams did a great job last week, Gill filling in for Trey Thompson.
Who's now back from a foot injury but he played so well, even had a half-sack that he's back in the game.
What do you think's in the Playbook right now?
Second and 42nd and real long treatment s. Snap it to number two, in the pistol formation and run around for your life and hope you can make a miracle happen under a minute.
Clemens looking for receiver, the intended receiver over there and the paths calls him complete was number 19, and that was Malik Williams in the past Falls incomplete.
So they will try again with a third employee.
Not a bad idea trying to get the ball to your number-one receiver.
He just got turned around.
I don't quite think the play was designed.
The junior quarterback to release the ball quite so early.
He didn't quite set his feet.
This is Junior quarterback.
He came into the season as a backup.
He's still trying to get things passing wise, a little bit ironed out, third and long at the 45, third and forty to be exact under a minute to go 13-7, McEachern over Walter.
Glad to have you with us here on GPB Sherman.
And there's a fumble, and that's a loose football and Williams.
It looks like for Elton is on it.
A fumble exchange by Taj Griffin and also back there and Kai Whitaker on top of it.
And that's going to be one of those football Taj Griffin.
You see Walton here, they fake the run blitz but they got penetration nonetheless would place the Box.
Blake mans is everywhere.
Gilley was everywhere last week and he's everywhere this week.
He's not the guy recovering the fumble, but he's wreaking the Havoc clock continues to run down under 20 under fifty.
Nine to ten now and Gil in this offense tie Clemens is supposed to be looking at the outside guy and making his decision.
He didn't quite pick up.
Monts coming off the corner, early enough, had he I believe you just want a held on to the ball.
And that's the end of the first quarter with the score McEachern, 13.
And Walton 7 will return to Powder Springs.

I have time to tell you.

Welcome back to Cantrell Stadium on the campus of McEachern High School.
2nd quarter about to start here.
Game, two of the battle of the big chicken, your I-75.
East-West Cobb Showdown, McEachern, the home team leading 13-7.
Let's talk a little bit about Blake months for Walton, has been wreaking a little havoc in the first quarter.
You talk to Rocky Hidalgo.
He says it's a little skinny strawman, but at the same time he also says he's a football player and that's the best compliment I can give a kid.
You need guys like this to win at the high school level.
He's a hard nose, good player and as good as he is out there, And Gil entrees, we send it back up to you Rocky.
Also said he doesn't look it out on the field, but he certainly plays hard.
We've seen that in the first 12 minutes.
Most definitely.
We saw it last week to train its carryover already and it's ballgame here.
And I want a defense that has a lot of new faces.
He is unquestionably the heartbeat of that defense.
Jones will put at his own 23 back to receive the Walton Smith and Jones.
It takes a bounce and taken by the up man.
Matt Smith getting the outside of the paper over 35 Point in the 2006 attacker.
But his brought down at about the McEachern 46-yard line and a 43-yard punt and a 34 yard return.
But there is a flag back at the 27-yard line, which means possibly an illegal block and then we're going to bring it back to her.
Yeah.
It was in the neighborhood of a block in the back that happens simultaneously as Smith took possession of the ball.
I have to, I'd have to believe it's a block in the back just because of the location on the field.
This will be a good shot of it right there.
Just the push and then it a second time, just one more for good measure.
and then, Takes away a really good return by DJ Smith, 34 yard return to be, brought back a 43-yard punt.
34 yard return.
So what will transpire is that Walton go start deep in their own territory and the series.
They Trail 13-7 surprise.
So far what you've seen in the first quarter.
I'm not because we've mentioned almost at nauseam about how forthright coach Hidalgo is and he says his defense is going to eventually be very good, but he still says they're a work in progress and we see the size on the off.
To life in the future and the elite athlete.
A system of their skill position players.
So I'm not surprised there at all.
If it weren't for the turn of we might have a little bit different game.
What Walton need to do here is settled down and put together a drive that takes a little bit of time off the clock and allows number one to do his thing.
We talked about penalties so far and McEachern, right now.
5450 and Walton 1410, and the Hall of Fame for the Walton.
Raiders pretty much stacked.
Yeah, it's growing and we just mentioned 30 College sign.
He's just But in the past few years, past four years to be exact, you got the Blaylock brothers who left, last year to go to Kentucky, Brandon Burrows is at Georgia.
Stanford for defensive end, Chase Thomas boy.
He was a great one.
If you see the list Vandy Oklahoma State just a who's who of virtual who's who of college football?
Yeah, and most of these players as I mentioned have come through the program recently.
So this is a program on the rise Gil.
And of course the cloud headed to Tuscaloosa T town and not shown well early on over 20 passing yards.
And the thing about McLeod is he's just going to be overshadowed all season, I Believe by Tyrant Jones but we saw the one time he was able to stand in the pocket, the only third and long they've had tonight.
He threw a great pass, just bust, it was just defended very well by McEachern, right?
And you talked about early on about the, you know, Walton and of course F EE and Jeff Heron.
And now rocking a dog Hey, Cochise at that photo, it's MacLeod on the role looking for a receiver of sliding receiver there at about at the 22 yard line and the person of a Craig Ryan.
He's been looking his way all night long so far, and the past Falls incomplete.
Speedo try again, 2nd and 10 at the 13th.
Speaking of Parker, McLeod, Gil Henry Rowling his fullback.
Just saved his bacon outside linebacker.
Justin Pendleton came on a blitz and rallying.
Barely made it over there.
That had disastrous.
All over it.
And they'll try to regroup on second tend to have been much worse than that.
Second and ten at the 13.
The alpha mention Rowling in motion.
I'm a cloud is the give to Jones sees a whole and it quickly closed up and gets a bad over the 15 up to about the 16 yard line, a gain of about 3 once again, good gang tackling And that's what you have to do.
That's the design Gill of this 353 defense, that McEachern is running.
The idea is to get guys in space so they can utilize their speed and they can run to the football coach Hockman said.
We really need our guys, this week to scrape off of blocks which is easier said than done against an offensive line.
This caliper because those guards are shooting out there to block those linebackers.
But so far tonight the linebackers aside from one play, have done a great job of him, an entire and Jones, third and seven at the 15 for Walton.
They Trail in this football game straight drop back as McLeod and the ball sails over the head of a leaping Smith and Falls incomplete and Walton will be forced upon point.
What can you what more can you say about the defense here for McEachern?
We talked about it in our keys to success.
Put them in unfavorable down in distance.
That's the only way to neutralize Tyrant Jones.
The problem is you're putting the ball in the hands of an Alabama committed quarterback so far.
That strategy is working Words will punt at his own five and back to receive for the McEachern Indians.
Our Parsons and romick and we have whistles in a flag.
10:46 here in the second quarter.
And if you would have told me early on traded, we would have a 13:17 McEachern out in front of Alton.
I would say you didn't.
Well, mceachin, really set the tone with their first offensive possession, being able to take it down the field and really do have their way if you will with the Walton defense.
And then we thought, well, maybe this game is going to be more of the same as what we saw last week.
When Tyrant Jones broke free but so far, McEachern has answered That works for try again.
A yard deep in his end zone calling for a fair Catch and taking it right there is Wyoming the 37-yard punt and McEachern will have a short field of work with at the Walton 47.
So First and Ten for them right there.
Yeah, great field position.
That's exactly what you want.
They're in control of this game.
This is a little bit of what we saw last week against Grayson.
Although the scoreboard didn't reflect and close game.
31 212, I thought McEachern played very well and Coach Hockman and talking to us this week.
Didn't seem at all discouraged about his team's performance last week.
Against Grayson, we got Malik Williams and a Rajan, right?
Split to the outside and Clemens looks for a receiver and has linear and that's complete to push.
Okay.
The senior at about the wolf.
Forty.
Gil, I just feel like Ty Clemens is a ticking Time, Bomb right now.
I think it's only a matter of time before he gets out in space and Hoffman calls, his number and tries to see what he can do against this Walton defense do so Clemens is numbers on the night and he's scrambling for his life looking for a receiver and it falls incomplete and out.
There was rejean right, we mentioned him early on and defending on the play those DJ Smith.
So, that'll bring up a third and six at the 40 to 1003 and the second quarter guilty.
I retraining Daniels, and hoping you and yours are enjoying what a wonderful weekend of Labor Day football on us here on GPB.
And, of course, next week the, ER, at Centennial at a while, will take on Centennial right here.
And our coverage starts with the football Fridays and more common and the Great crew here.
Gpp, that's a fake given Clemens is going to keep.
It gets outside gets close to first down yardage about 235.
Good enough for a first down.
And again you know, we talked about you talked about earlier, but Clemens being a time bomb waiting to happen but you make something happen and churning up real estate and turning up clock.
Yeah, they come in with a little bit of a heavy package with two tight ends and just run that zone read, That's become so popular.
Now, by Clemens almost cost his team, the first down by trying, to kick it outside, but he went on pure.
Let us ISM and gets a new set of downs for the McEachern.
Indians are, that's the give and turning the corner and getting over the 35 close to the 30 yard line was Taj Griffin.
We scored earlier, and it is about close to the 30 and over there.
Making the stop number 47, Williams.
And so rich Gibson over there as well.
Gil, this guy Taj Griffin has really impressed me.
He has otherworldly speed any other back would have been tackled for a loss right there.
He's going on pure athleticism.
Coach Hockman says, he's kind of a Percy Harvin type and I can totally see that we've already seen him score one touchdown tonight.
Clemens load it up and look for rahming deep.
And thank goodness.
There was safety help over there in the person of take wanna Robinson, who came over there to just, not that pass away because that had six written all over it.
Yeah, he certainly saved the day.
Senior took one Robinson is actually the back upwards.
Normally senior Robert McCarthy over there who had seven solo tackles in his own, right.
Last week to Kwan goes up, gets that big pond the football other wide.
That's dropped right into the hands of the sophomore wide receiver and probably a touchdown.
Just as barely was over there for safety help.
That's Sherman.
Straight ahead and almost loses the football.
It is loose and still on the ground and still being passed on it, and Walton may have recovered it, but the whistle may have blown possible.
Really whistle?
No.
As a matter of fact, you'll I didn't hear a whistle because Sherman went down, and he was actually sitting on top of a Walton Defender.
So, I do not think they blew this play dead.
This should be Walton football, and it is while the football, it is one football.
Germans put his hands up in the air, he's pleading, its casing.
I was down.
I was down, but we go look at the replay.
I believe he was sitting right on top of a Walton defensive lineman and it looked like Maurice Gibson Mo.
Gibson was one who came up with that number 7, and a ball stayed loose and there it is.
Loose is out there continues to stay loose then it's on the ground a mad scramble.
You see, mope, mope Gibson, is there like I mean, going crazy Gibson does a great job there, scratching his plow on his way to a turnover and they These are the kind of plays that you wonder what would happen if there was replay because his rear end.
May have been on the ground, but the initial call, you cannot fault.
The officials for that.
I also believe he was on top of the defender.
That's a great.
Call it records.
It was recovered at the 24, so Walton takes over first in 10 right there.
The Man in Motion is wrong, McLeod, James to Jones, eludes a tackler move forward.
Push back got behind Capilano and maybe got two, possibly three.
Number four, junior middle linebacker, Glenn Frazier does a fantastic job here.
Rarely do you see one guy bring down Tyrant Jones but he had to alter his course in the backfield by the time he got to Glenn, Frazier Frazier did a great job of breaking down and not getting over seles and tackling Tyrant Jones for a 1-yard loss.
Great job by the middle linebacker who had 10 solo tackles last week.
S 11 at the 23 that's Jones.
Again, he gets into the 25, top to the 26 yard.
8:07 to go here in the second period.
McEachern out in front 13-7 over the Walton.
Raiders, if you just joined us earlier, Hillgrove lost to Lassiter.
37 229, John Wilkerson, John Nelson, brought to you.
Brought you that game here tonight.
This is The nightcap and Rocky Hidalgo and Company.
Number 37, facing them.
Right now they Trail by six thirteen seven.
We're talking to use the world here, the second quarter.
And the cloud, looking over the wall, the sidelines, motions to bring Looks like Jones in the slot, Rowling the lone setback.
The pass is complete the number 22 working in the slot.
And that's good enough for a first down and let's pray crime.
May be looking for wine all day long, he gets over in 35 up to about the 36 yard line.
The Cauldron again.
Absolutely by bringing Tyrant Jones in motion that alerts the defense to his place on the field and your can use him as a decoy at that point.
That's the best exit.
Most well-executed pass play that.
Brand so far tonight, First and Ten at the 35 7, 19 and Counting down as we work our way to halftime.
And, of course, Mark, Harmon and crew got an outstanding show for you there, Rowling in motion and MacLeod.
The give is to Jones on the counter, over the 40 pushes his way up to about the 42 yard line and kelp areum.
Among those on the stop for the McEachern.
Indians, yo that was great.
Push up front by the right tackle.
Jake.
Boynton the young man that we talked about earlier who's going to Kentucky, he whipped his guy in the Kinsey Billingsley and he had them ten yards past the line of scrimmage.
Tyron Jones, this muscled up behind us, right?
Tackle and gained five yards before, he was even touched by the bring up second and five at the 42 under the 7-minute, Mark here Powder Springs, McEachern, 13, and Walton.
7, glad to have you with us here on GPB tonight.
The lone setback behind MacLeod.
It's time.
Jones.
Number one, get some ducks inside.
Gets puts his head down, gets close to the 40 yard line.
And among those on the stop, Glenn, Frazier, part of that 35, look for the Indian defense.
I love What Glenn Frazier has done so far on the last handful of plays.
He's really stepped up and filled the Gap.
It's kind of has a sixth sense about where Ty Jones, it's going, and he's not doing what Brookwood did last week.
Gill and try to tackle Tyrant, Jones High.
He's going for his legs, and he's doing a great job and solo tackles last week for Frazier, against Grayson.
Give us again the Jones and he shakes one tackler, lose.
Another one.
He gets over the 45-yard line about to the 47 made something out of nothing again and that's close to first down yardage.
It's gonna be a little skill.
They may have them on Azure this one.
Yeah.
And this is just vintage Tyrant Jones, right here, watch this movie puts on in the backfield, doesn't matter if you get penetration on him because he has the athleticism to make something happen.
But look how many blue shirts are in the area.
Coach Hockman has to be so pleased, so far tonight at is a Defense has ability to get to the ball with a head of steam and make a tackle for areum and Christian Wade.
Among those on the stop.
It is a first down First, and Ten for Walton at their own 45, 511 ago, load, setback, and that's Jones.
The work force pushes his way gets over the 45-yard line up to 1048 and he stood up there, and among those on the stop for the Indians number 55, Randy Truesdale Christian Wade.
Also, extreme Wade.
Also, they are slew of Indian tacklers 450 to go, Gil, Tyree tree McDaniel, glad to have you with us, Trey, you surprised and what's going on in terms of the play calling.
Right now, I'm not surprised at the play calling, but I'm surprised at the level of aggressiveness that they're getting away with on defense for McEachern.
They're keying on number one, every time and it's to some degree working.
Second and five or second and ten correctly, and the pass intended over there for Mo Gibson, from a cloud falls incomplete at about the 50-yard line.
So they'll try and Lock and Load it again.
This is one of the reasons why their aggression is working on defense because right now the passing game is no threat to them because Walton is unable to execute.
The reason why they pass the ball right there on second down was to get the defense off of Tyran Jones a little bit if they could have completed it, it would have been successful but Out there in the worst position possible because they have to put Tyrant Jones in the slot and take them out of the back field on Third and long.
The cloud 106 10 yards and not a good start for him.
Third and ten from a cloud plenty of time looking for Ryan has in there and that's another first down for a while to keep this drive alive.
Now, every Walton can continue to do this.
Then the McEachern defense will be at a complete loss.
Great job sliding out of the pocket.
Clear line of sight to Ryan Craig, another great pass catch in the slot by Ryan, Craig.
And it moves the chains and all the sudden little bit of sigh relief.
Now for the Walton, Raiders First and Ten at the 39.
See the Man in Motion is Gibson, and they give by McLeod and Jones Juke step still on his feet gets outside, he breaks one and he is talking about the 22.
And over there, making the stop for McEachern.
Sot Jerry cat lie over there.
Watch Tyron Jones decides to keep it inside any other back would have been down now.
Christian Ford the junior corner has to go back to the sideline and get his ankles re-taped after that.
Watch this move right here.
Wow.
First and Ten at the 20 1335 and Counting mr. Jones right now at the century mark 12 carries a hundred yards one touchdown, courtesy of our statistician, Kevin Barnes and a great guys.
In the truck, led by the commander Steve Graham a quiet hundred yards if that's possible.
333 until halftime 13-7.
The Man in Motion is Romberg, the give is to a slicing and dicing Jones who gets close to the 20 yard line.
And again, middle linebacker, the junior, Glenn Frazier, we're calling his name a lot coach Hockman said in this, 353 defense, it's up the middle that we have to be strong nose.
Tackle middle linebacker, free safety, kind of like a baseball team, Gil.
You got to be strong up.
The middle catcher, shortstop second baseman, center fielder.
And right now, Glenn Frazier is running free and we've got an open tackle opportunity on tire and Jones nine times out of ten.
He's delivering 60 Fallon, the offensive coordinator, and, of course, you know, just stays in Burns at midnight, oil up in Marietta, it's done an outstanding job for a rocky, Hidalgo: plays them.
Its Rocky right next to him.
They are the blank Brain.
Trust, there's one Raider football team, It's been a very long drive gear started way back after the penalty after the Block in the back.
And of course, you know, we talked about trip Allen.
Let's talk also about their defensive coordinator.
Chris Stewart, their new defensive coordinator came over from from my Sprayberry and the repaid for replaced the Chuck got or even went to East Paul me.
So, War caucusing as well.
Get in that political frame of mind, housing, public and National Convention, just concluded a equal time to demo.
Democrats will have their Big Show Tuesday and Charlotte and the Queen City and you know, GPB gives you the best news coverage around.
We got you covered from top to bottom of.
It comes to the presidential election.
So the caucus is complete and we'll line them up.
First and Ten at the 11.
So first and goal right there for Walter 318 till halftime tree McDaniel.
Now inside the Red Zone Gil, it looks like Waltons going to come out and kind of a bunch formation and have two receivers in a tight end.
Really close to that right side of the line.
Kind of a heavy package.
They can do a lot of things out of this first field goal of the 11-inch.
Jones made a head spins gets down to about the 5 down to the floor.
What trip Allen is trying to do, right?
There is create numbers on the outside, he knows he's telegraphing, the play that's coming.
But if you've got more white shirts than blue shirts, it's a numbers game.
So right now it's a cat-and-mouse game between the defensive coordinator for McEachern and trip.
Alan nose tackle.
The sophomore Chandler Jones along?
With MacKenzie Billingsley, almost stopped second and goal at the 5 for Walter.
They trailed 13-7.
Man in Motion.
And the give again, is to Jones over left arm left tackle.
This couch, has way the five down about the 4 to the 3.
Leon, boys did a great job there from his defensive end position Gil.
Again taking on Tyrant Jones one-on-one and doing exactly what he has to do is get low.
That's the only way to bring that guy down.
Close it in on the two-minute Mark you see the top of your screen and like now?
Third and goal at the for McLeod rolls Looking In The End Zone and hasn't man, and he drops it.
He drops it.
That was Henry Rowling had touchdown written all over it and he drops it Gil.
The aforementioned Leon voice came from the outside, providing the pressure in the cloud had that sixth sense that good quarterbacks has that.
He has pressure, he rolls out and delivers a wobbly, but a strike to Henry Rowling rally had an easy touchdown right there.
Or they would love to get that back.
Almost a nine minute drive, put together so far for the Walton.
Raiders, so price will come in and attempt a field goal.
22 yarder.
The kick is up, it looks good and it is good.
So Walton with the field goal from 23 yards drawings within free as we get close to have time.
13:10 McEachern out in front of Walton here.

All-access pass beginning next Friday, September 7th.
7:30 from Centennial, High School, Friday nights.
And Georgia were never more fun GPB Sports football.
Friday's all-access pass followed by the Centennial Etowah game.
Beginning September 7th at 7:30 prom time here at GPB in our tree McDaniels getting jiggy with it you love that musical chair, huh?
Javi.
Coming aboard to Public Enemy.
Yeah.
Big football.
It is on five.
Is that Taj Griffin?
He has of world-class speed and he's going to get outside.
He could go.
Yd Trey McDaniel.
What can you say about this guy every single time he touches the ball?
He is a threat to go all the way he is.
Only a sophomore, again, he's not even coming to his own as a football player.
He's putting on a helmet and shoulder pads and just showcasing his speed.
He caught that ball at the one-yard line and just outran.
Everybody to the corner.
We'll talk about answering back with less than two minutes to go in the half.
That's answering back.
That's attractive.
Huh.
McDaniel man, between him and Tyron Jones.
Yes, two of the most dynamic players I've seen in a while.
They get two more years of this kid.
The extra point is good, technical college system, the touchdown Ray Blake.
Take a look at this.
99 yards or killing Barnes.
Corrects us to look from up top.
This is from your living room, nice wedge, secures it and then the speed to the outside and forget about it and you can't see him in the shot.
But two guys had perfect angles on him and he just turned on.
He found a sixth gear that nobody else on the football field.
Had he took it Later and AAU 100 meter Champion.
Okay, I was going to tell you how long, the scoring Drive was for Walton.
But now that seems like so far in the past it'll look exotic Griffin.
And of you scoring at home, it was 14 plates, 71 yards, seven minutes and 10 seconds.
But description says, to head with all that, I'm going to take it to the house.
So good to the hizzle.
So, keep to the his, a 127 to go until halftime.
Kevin Barnes.
That's old news now because he got it.
Got it done real quick, just blue bias.
We are so glad to have you with us here on GPB.
And of course, our Labor Day coverage a Labor Day Feast of high school football.
Here in Powder Springs, a lot of football on the buffet, this weekend with a piece, of course, we mentioned that score.
And of course, earlier Lassiter over Hillgrove, 37 to 29.
And if I told you that Lassiter, jumped out to a thirty seven.
Nothing lead.
You would say what?
Huh?
Seems like a week ago.
Exactly.
And then you had the mauling that took place up tonight.
Imma Central 35 2 3 They will remain Romero know and all of high school football across the Great us of a as they should.
We discussed that while we were hanging out and watching that great game between Laster and Hillgrove, about what we thought about Grayson, and whether we thought, yes, overrated, not overrated, certainly hard to make an assessment like that after one game, I think, now that we see what McEachern is able to do against Walton.
It might have just been a fact of great competition, last week, maybe McEachern, just a little bit better than we thought they were djsmithwick.
Get the ball rolling, The End Zone and Walton will take over First and Ten at their own 20 and they Trail 9:40.
And with a minute 27 to go, and I'm going to ask you tray up in his black strategies going into the locker room for Coach Hockman and coach of a go out of the shotgun is MacLeod.
He loads up in the pocket and has a receiver over there.
Sliding receiving, the person of Henry growling I pass is complete close to the 29-yard line.
The clock continues.
He's the one we're closing in on the one minute, mark.
Free timeout still for Walton.
And let's see if Rocky Hidalgo will burn them out of shotgun again, as MacLeod, plenty of town and finds Tyrone Jones and he slung over near the 32 yard line and Leon boys.
So, we've called his name a lot tonight.
Well, his name and number what a great open field tackle.
One of the few players that can get away with going backwards.
When he needs to make the chains, go forward is Tyrant Jones.
But a great job.
Breaking down there, perfect.
Textbook, tackle, again, taking them on lowly on voice and it's a first down first in down for Walton at their own 34, the passes complete and that's Mel, Gibson close to the 40 yard line a gain of about you know about 60 bring up a second 444 ticks to go.
And of course Mark Harmon and his fine group downstairs getting ready for halftime Grace, Olson, letting us know what you're talking about on the Social media front, I want to hear from you gain of about three second and seven at the 37 22:10, the Indians of McEachern, the host, McEachern Indians over the Walton.
Raiders right now here on TPP MacLeod, plenty of time looks the tight end.
Lads came from everywhere.
They're going to call helmet to helmet on kelp areum.
This is kind of that gray area Gill and I'm all for protecting players and I certainly hope that Brad green is okay.
All right, take us through tray, tell us what we're seeing right here.
This is what we see from The End Zone.
Thanks is a defenseless receiver on a high pass.
In kelp arm comes in and he leads with the crown of his helmet up under the chin of the tight end in lays them out as helmet comes off.
And that's very scary.
When you see a player's head whip back like that against the turf, especially ahead that has Not a helmet on it and they are going to tend to this young man in do, everything.
That's good.
So precautionary right here.
Even if the young man is down on the field saying I'm fine, let me back up, they want to make sure he's okay.
That young man is Brad green.
And you seeing him right now, the senior tight end.
Number 80, tough-as-nails fact that he's sitting up right now, putting his mouthpiece back in.
That's good news.
They're just checking him out when leave nothing to chance right here.
Goes off on his own power.
Before he took a shot, man, he did, and it was a great.
It was a great shot by kelp arm, but this happens a lot with taller receivers and tight ends and safeties.
There's a height distance discrepancy.
So when he hits him, his chin level is at helmet level for kelp areum.
And he just absolutely takes his head off right here.
That is a legit penalty and that was very well described by train McDaniel.
You got an End Zone.
Look and special thanks again to our fine crew.
Our technical crew led by Commander Steve Graham and the guys don't get enough credit guys and gals and what they do for us and providing you great pictures.
You see, Brad green being attended to That'll bring up a First and Ten at the 49 out of it.
Eerily similar to that Brookwood run last week, spinning and turning and missed missed tackles and he gets it into Indian Territory and about at the Forty second time tonight, guild at there's been A bad snap.
And Parker McLeod has had to sort of shovel the ball to Tyron Jones and any other back.
Right there would have been dropped for a five-yard loss.
He was one tackle away from taking this one.
To the house kelp areum ends up.
Being the guy ironically that comes in and saves the touchdown.
You see the fumbled snap watch the spin move and Tyron Jones making something out of nothing.
And you talked about those timeouts and Rocky Hidalgo, just burned another one.
So right now, they're talking about easy trip.
Alan the offensive coordinator in the Huddle and you see, seventy-nine Brandon poblano, one of the main Halls upfront, Paving the way for tyrant Jones and you know, just a reminder, it's another great season of Georgia traveler at a new time, Sundays at 7:00 in Prime Time on GPB, watch David, zelinsky and his crew as they uncover more of the Hidden great state of Georgia that maybe across the state or around the corner, Georgia traveler time, Sundays at 7 p.m. followed by Georgia Outdoors, only all the greats, gbtb2 places that they go, and if we like it, We can tag along sometime.
No one's out sceeto way.
I do he's not going to tell you because he wants to go take his family and just have a good time and just send us the pictures.
They do a great job at that show, they really do.
Another reason why you know that Tehran and coupling Emmy Award 11 last year The pass intended for number 22.
Ryan, Craig Falls incomplete and they'll try again.
They'll load it up again.
The third and four in the 3923, picks to go here until halftime with two timeouts left.
Although there's only 23 seconds left on the clock year.
Roughly, 16 yards away from makeable field goal range for the senior Anthony price.
But first and foremost, you have to pick up the first down in order to get yourself a new set of downs to try to do that.
No doubt about a third and fourth of 4122 10, the Indians of the gate ran out, In front of the Raiders of wealth, the cloud find smoke Gibson, and it's close to another first down and the clock stops at 17 seconds.
The line it up again and it's complete with the ball on the 35.
Keep an eye on with Trey talked about being able to get into field goal, range, McLeod out of the shotgun.
Little out route to Gibson.
We're going to call the egg toss complete.
They call it complete and that gets close to about the 32 yard line, but we got a flag on the play now.
Gil, we know that coach a dog was already abused, at least one of his timeouts.
Although the scoreboard says that, he still has three by my calculations, he has two left, but the fact that that First down that, stop the clock, he did not call a timeout.
Once the ball is reset tells me that he may have less time outs than the two that we think he has.
He's got judging by where the ball is on the football field.
He's got about 10 yards to go before he can set up.
What would be a makeable field goal?
42-yard for Anthony price.
Look at the Walton sideline front and center head coach Rocky Hidalgo.
The Raiders Trail 9:40 10 ticks to go until halftime and the flag against Walton so that'll move them back and take them out of field goal range.
It's a killer Gill, a false start to puts the ball all the way back to the 40 yard line.
Now you need 15 yards to get into field goal range first and 15 at the 40 10 ticks to go until the half the cloud Under Pressure, loads up and half.
On the stick of Jones and he staggers coming up in the ball was loose.
While in the pill has been flown blown dead and we still have more Flags, but that was that was a stick.
This place here at Cantrell, stadium is turning upside down right now.
The clock says crippled 0.
That pass looked like he was caught by Tyran Jones, the 15 yard line, and he was separated from the ball by kelp areum.
Will we know that the last time kelp areum laid?
A hit on green.
It was legitimate penalty.
I want to see if this was a Nancy.
They threw the flag.
Yes, that is a legitimate penalty.
Once again, although we had his elbow and his forearm up, he did stick the crown of his helmet in there.
That is a legitimate penalty.
Another, look, take it.
Look at it again, trait and call it.
It looked like it could have been a touchdown but you can't lead your head and go in to the receiver like a missile Bill.
Call that every time had he pivoted his body and gone, I don't want to say with the rib cage, but with the side of the shoulder pad that would have been perfectly legit.
They are always always always going to err on the side of safety.
Especially when the receivers primary focus is to real the ball and he cannot simultaneously do that and set himself up in a defensive position to protect against a hit like that you just saw Jones.
And this is Parm right here and they were taking a good.
Look at Jones and he's been a ejected.
They threw Carm out.
He has been ejected that stuff and he's very upset about that and I would be to ease their best player on defense.
They're only returning starter.
They knew how important he was going to be coming into the game.
That's why they moved him to free safety, so he could make plays like this.
But again, they're going to make sure these young men, stay safe Above All Else, and Trey, you talked about the opportunity for Walton to possibly get a field goal in a situation like this, possibly.
Right now, with the fact that this this game ends at the half on a puddle, he's been injected has been a ejected from the game well because it says triple zero, the has cannot end on a defensive penalty.
So you would get an untimed down and if I'm in my Walton I line up and try to kick a field goal.
There you go.
There you go.
Little pandemonium going on right here because the the other 10 guys on the football field for McEachern, don't feel like that that ejection was legit and they're up in arms and look down on the sidelines here.
If our camera Crews can get a shot of that, coach Hockman is pulling his entire team in now, he's trying to Rally him down.
He's, they're taking a knee right now and he's trying to get them to be unified once again.
And say, guys we are a family.
This is not going to affect us in a negative way.
Something happened, it didn't go our way.
We're going to rally the troops were winning this football game.
He's getting a Head start on what his halftime speech is going to be and you see poem being led off the field.
He's been a ejected, two hits that were very questionable at Best, in terms of leading with the crown on a helmet.
He's been injected.
The only returning starter a leader.
A major player on this defense.
We've called his name and number a lot here tonight but that gentleman has been a ejected for the hit on Tyrant Jones.
Your earlier had a hit on the tight end for Walton Green.
Green.
What he has been ejected, I love what coach Hockman did right here.
His team was getting a little fractured wandering up and down the sidelines little disjointed, he senses that he knows he has this game in control.
He does not want to lose momentum.
He knows how good this football team.
Is he brings them together?
He does what a good football coach, does he calls his guys down?
They come out of that meeting and now they look as unified and fired up as ever, you know?
It's going to be a Busy busy halftime.
Well, we go downstairs to John Nelson, I can see John and course, Nellie's ready dance?
Those tough questions.
And let's go down and Nelly right now.
Nellie your observations down at field level.
While you talk about the big hits.
It's going to be interesting to talk to coach Hockman about what he actually.
Did say what he actually did say to his team, as the whole team was brought onto the field right at the hash.
We're going to get coach Hockman, just a sec to find out what those magic words were so they don't get lost.
On the task at hand.
Remember they're playing the team that was the runner-up in 5A so it's an interesting test for them at home.
It's going to be really interesting to see how unified they're going to be or if they're going to continue to be as aggressive as kelp arum has been, or are they going to take a step back knowing that they could get flags, it's going to be an interesting transition in the second half talking about how things are going to be for them defensively.
Thank you John.
And you know Trey said that price would have an opportunity to kick a field goal at the close of this half and he is going to get exactly.
Exactly that as you get a look at the aforementioned coach Hockman.
As John just talked about, he's going to try to get the coach Hockman, a rocky Hidalgo at the close of the first half and they will interview the other one at the start of the second half, of course, it should be an interesting halftime show with Mark Harmon a 28-yard ER, A 28-yard attempt by Anthony price.
To cut this lead to 7.
And bring Alton closer tray and because of the missed p80 earlier after the Taj Griffin touchdown, this would bring them within seven points of the lead.
Not eight.
Great point.
There's Rocky Hidalgo and what has been a very busy first.
Half here Powder Springs here tonight.
My goodness, Cantrell stadium has been abuzz, sorry Gil.
You see Kyle's father, who's his offensive coordinator, pleading his case, to the officials as well.
But a very bizarre situation, you don't want to neutralize your players aggression, but you also want to keep people safe.
It's like walking a tightrope kill but I'm gonna ask you your thoughts about that.
I mean you saw both plays on the green and on on Tyrant Jones, you know?
I would just, I would just ask the officials.
What would you have had kelp areum do differently?
Because after all, this is football.
but at the same time as the father of a son, And it's a football fan, Paramount has to be keeping the young men safe.
And one who played the game as well and played it as well as anybody at Brookwood.
And of course, you know, you have an opportunity to see that.
Let's take a look at these at a birth, both hits this.
The first one on grain.
The tight end over the middle.
Number 80, All right, that's one.
And I can see that one being legit because it was up under greens chin.
This was the one on that is in a gray area for me, because it looks like he leads with his right elbow and right shoulder pad.
And yes, his helmet makes contact.
But how is your head going to avoid contact when you're breaking down and making a tackle, there's no way for your helmet not to contact that player.
If you brought up a great Point earlier about the lunching like a missile, okay?
And in both cases, Lunging like a missile and that helmet becomes a projectile.
It does it becomes a weapon and I think that's what the Georgia High School Association referees saw here.
Tonight did an outstanding job on an outstanding call.
So price will have an opportunity.
This a 28 yarder.
28 yarder out of the hold of Blake months.
The kick is up and it's good.
So 22:13 11 plays 69 yards and a whole lot of time to 28-yard Field goal by Price brings Walton within seven.
Now at 2213, and we are at the half and John Nelson looking for for Coach Hockman and Coach Hidalgo.
Let's go to.
We see Jon Nelson.
We see Jon Nelson, Steve with the coach Hockman, but you want to go downstairs to Mark, Harmon, John Nelson is and Trey.
You know, you see both teams coming up.
Let's go downstairs right now to Mark, Harmon, Mark, it's all yours.
All right, we are at halftime has been a wild finish of this first half right now of 22:13 of the kedron leading Walton.
Let's go to John Nelson.
Who has Kyle Hockman?
The coach in the kitchen standing alongside as we play the star-studded Second half of this, great doubleheader here at the big chicken, John.
Data traffic.
Here with the coach.
And let's first question, let's talk about the end of the half and the two big hits would kill.
Well, you know, he's an aggressive player, but this day and age, no matter if it's a clean hit or not, they're going to call those things.
And, and I understand that, you know, we're not coaching any dirty stuff at all.
When, you know, we just have to be smarter whether whether they were head Helmet or shoulder or whatever, it's still.
That's, that's what they're going to call.
It's going to and I agree with that.
So, then how does Adjust things with Cal being the most experienced guy out there in the second half.
You know, you know, we have he was in a new position anyway.
So you know, obviously we're going to be hurt with it but you know it's a great opportunity for us and that's why I'm going to look at it.
We're going to we're going to make sure we make a proper adjustments.
How we you know any clothes helmet to helmet or anything like that, but will be I think we'll be fine.
We'll just keep keep keep battling.
Thanks for your time.
Calm.
You're welcome very chippy into the first half will send it back upstairs.
Hey, thanks very much John.
A lot of fireworks here at the end of the first half of this, one coming up.
We'll hear from both marching bands.
I'll talk to both sets of principles.

Now to welcome into the program.
Our sideline reporter our play-by-play Elizabethan man.
Elizabeth Nelson.
Yes, talk a little bit about game one because it went right down to the wire and Hillgrove almost pulled off a great comeback once in a blue moon type of come back dirty nothing thirty seven to nothing and then they come back with twenty nine unanswered points.
You've got to see what Troy Thompson did last the last week against Westlake, Troy Thompson through for 280 yards.
But you've got to give Hillgrove a lot of credit for really mounting the come back, the way they did making it a one possession game and you know, Sir, I'm sure head coach, Jeff bar.
When a sitting there talking about how he's just happy to get out of Dodge right now, got a great win great performance from Eddie Prinz, but eight point Victory and they are lucky to get home.
All right, that make takes us to game two between Walton and McEachern and let's talk about what went on late in that football game first half.
I mean, some wild plays down there.
Well, you saw how physical kelp are.
I'm has been as a defensive player and you see right there.
There's the first hit.
And that Drew a penalty for kelp areum and then we're going to keep an eye on 24 dark because that's not the first time and it's not the last time that that happened.
So watch right here.
Pressure on Parker McLeod and then right on Tyrant Jones par mm launches himself.
I guess that's how the officials are looking at it that he launched himself at Tyron Jones.
And anytime that there's any kind of a height discrepancy and it was brought up by Gill and tray up in the booth that you have the smaller player who ends up instead of standing flush to someone, like You and I are both 61 if I was to come and hit you, it would be right on you know square and there wouldn't be an issue but with Cal harm, kelp arm being 59 launching in and up and you see both headgear came off both times when both of those hits, that's how parm ended up with both unsportsmanlike, conduct penalty, both personal fouls, and then eventually ending up with the ejection.
And that was why I had to ask coach Hockman at the half, what was going on and how are you going to adjust things?
It's going to be a big question.
All right, man, you're right in the middle of everything.
You're not kidding.
When we come back, we'll talk.
The Walton principal after the break here for the McEachern band, that's all coming up on our GPB, football, Fridays in Georgia, halftime show, stay with us.

Isaac school years off to Very smooth starred in our students are in the routine and and we're just having a great year so far.
Now, let me ask you, how much enthusiasm there is around the school because your football team is ranked third in the state.
And of course, you got tire and Jones.
One of the most exciting players in all of Georgia.
There's a lot of excitement around the school, and, and I think everybody's looking forward to our first home game, we had a pep rally scheduled today.
And unfortunately the weather this morning made is canceled that but thus the students were very, very excited and appointed that we didn't have our first pep rally.
So they're excited and they're out here.
Supporting the team, even though it's very late at night, I was going to say, you guys are kind of night owls.
You kicked off at 9:18 at the Corky Kell and you kicked off about 10:00 here at the Battle of the big chicken.
That's right.
It's, I think our players are learning to have endurance of time.
Well, let's play.
Are You Smarter than your students?
Who got a question here from the today in Georgia?
History program?
Let's see.
Oh, it's a civil war question.
What was the bloodiest, Georgia?
Battle in the Civil War.
Was it a the Battle of Atlanta?
Be the Battle of Chickamauga.
See the Battle of Kennesaw Mountain or D the Battle of Fort McAllister.
B.
The Battle of Chickamauga.
Yeah, there's a b**** I always have to wait for the ding you are, smarter than your students.
Thanks so much for coming on with us and you're correct.
I tell you, it's been great.
Thank.

We'll be right back after this.

I knew I needed to talk to somebody about money when I opened my design shop.
When Mom got sick, my daughter engaged already, I felt sort of stuck.
I went to SunTrust, I just wanted to talk to someone and they listen helped me see options.
I didn't know I had now, I'm moving forward.
So I can focus on what's really important.
I'm better off than I thought at SunTrust, we're here to help you find the answers you're looking for.
This is my baby girl, that's why we start every conversation with.
How can we help you?
Welcome back halftime here at Cantrell Stadium here with the head coach of the Walton, Raiders Rocky Hidalgo.
And first off, let's get the injury update off the two big hits.
You know, I think we're going to hold Bragg rain out, he still has some symptoms Tire actually had heard his nose and that's kind of why we pulled him out there.
Just check him out, but he'll be back in second, half and then obviously late and second quarter because of those hits.
It was chippy play out there, your impressions of the chip Enos.
I guess, you know, we have to do a good job of keeping our composure and go out and play hard, you know, their kids are playing hard.
Our kids are playing hard.
It's a rough night for football.
We've been sitting around for Hours out in the heat, it's humid, everybody out here is tired.
We you know, it's going to be the most the toughest team emotionally and physically and mentally out here is going to end up winning the game.
All right, thanks for your time.
Rock like a second half.
I'll send it back upstairs to Gil and Trey, take it away.
All right, Jon Nelson.
Thank you, you heard from Rocky and of course, the halftime score right now, 22:13 McEachern out in front of Walton.
Let's take a look at some of the first half highlights of this football game here tonight.
Ryan McDaniel, take us through and they got on the board.
The Indians with the touchdown here on their first drive, a 4-yard touchdown run.
And then number one, answers back with a touchdown run of his own, very reminiscent of what he did last week.
57 yards, this time, to knock things up at seven apiece and then the most dynamic player for McEachern comes back with this answer, a 22-yard, our of his own Taj Griffin putting on a show here tonight and then then then he does this 999.
Yard kick return and two more years.
This guy'll be on campus at McEachern.
Only a sophomore.
Can't wait to see what he does here in the immediate future in the second half.
That was an AAU 100 meter Champion for the touchdown 99 yards.
Our halftime stats right now, train McDaniel, what jumps out at you.
Well, McEachern is holding their own offensively.
You look at the rushing yards and the passing yards and the total yards are very very similar.
So our time of possession McEachern though.
Has those eight penalties for 85 yards, sir?
Several of those coming on the helmet to helmet contact, which eventually led to the kelp arum ejection, and we talked about him being the most effective player on their defense in the only returning starter, and he was a ejected after two hits on the same drive, the first one against tied in Brad, green 15-yard penalty.
Brad green coach said just they're going to hold him out just for precautions and then here but look like a possible.
Touchdown, he D cleats.
Ty Jones, and he gets a ejected after this play.
And with triple zeros on the clock, after the penalty, it puts Walton into field goal range and they're able to get three more points on the board.
And that's where we stand.
Now, 22:13 heading into the second half, it should be an eventful second half and you saw the outstanding crew of the GHSA, making the call leading with the head, and then the ejection Leota, the ejection here tonight, your thoughts about that, and how this thing is played out so far.
Well, first off, I'd like to say hats off, To the officials because they're just out there doing their job.
And of course, if you're a Walton Raider, you're happy about the kelp arm ejection, what's resulted in three points?
If you're on the McEachern side in their Press Box, as we are, they're very unhappy with that because their best defensive player is now in the locker room and I know we've kind of flip flop back and forth on the way we feel about it.
But safety is the utmost concern.
We believe that one of those hits was legitimately helmet-to-helmet.
The second one was kind of a gray area, but when it comes to Safety in the current climate of things with football in this country you have to err on the side of keeping these young men safe.
So we think the officials did the right thing and particularly the head injury and courtesy of it, head injury protocol which is in effect right now.

These great games, these outstanding young, men and young ladies.
And we say thank you from all of us here at GPB and happy Labor Day to you and yours and we're about ready to start the second half here.
And of course, 2013 McEachern out in front of Walton and okay, we'll be kicking off for the Indians.
And back to receive for the Walton.
Raiders will be BJ, Smith and Karen Jones, and we're about ready to get started here at 10:00 show.
Stadium on a late Friday night soon to be Saturday morning here on Labor Day weekend and we say, thank you for joining us here tonight.
Okay?
It's pooch kick.
It's taken by the up, man, and fumbling with it is Jones and he Dives on it before, he is really just Snowed under by a slow, a special team performance for McEachern.
So the recovery by Jones smack, dab at the 28 or 29.
They'll spot it and Walton will take them first intent like here.
Let's take a look at the stats on Parker.
McLeod, the Alabama, commit Tremec think he's really salvaged.
What for the first few minutes of the first half was rather Rocky 7 or 14 for 72 yards.
He's getting into a little bit of a rhythm and if they can establish anything through the air, Ever.
It will neutralize the aggression that they've had such luck with on the McEachern side of things.
See you man in motion that's Romberg in the give is to Jones over.
White, tackle continues plying, his way close to the 40 yard line and in on the stop for the McEachern.
Indians their defense here tonight, I saw a coming up on Earth is Chandler Jones and Mackenzie Billingsley their look at Tyron Jones stats right now.
For carries 114 yards.
Touchdown.
He's obviously had more carries than that.
A to receptions though, as well.
He's very dangerous out of the backfield but they would rather keep him in short, 14 carries to be exact.
They'd rather keep him in short down in distance because that's where he's the most dangerous.
And that's what keeps the guys in the blue shirts back on their heels.
Second into the 38 Walton trailing by 7, 2013, 11 05 here in the third quarter and we have a whistle and we have a stoppage of play and the flags on the play As well, Gil?
What I liked was coach Rocky Hidalgo talking to John Nelson, coming out of our halftime break in and not at all being upset about what took place.
He says my teams playing hard their teams playing hard, the most mentally tough team is going to win this football game.
So not holding a grudge at all about, what transpired right before, the half a reverie crew here tonight, let up the incomparable, Mike Boyd, and they've had a lot to do Calvin Beasley and Philip Haines for sha plows and and also a Quasi.
They've had their hands full here tonight.
Second and seven.
If you're beginning to Tom and Jonesy, spin me, he gets over the 35 about scrum and she's after that a Rugby scrum and they push him to about 37.
What?
I want.
Dana three, or four sheep McGill.
What I love to see right.
There is literally all 11.
Gold hats are within a 3-yard window tackling tire and Jones together.
And that's exactly what coach Hockman said of going to have to happen.
There was a little bit of misdirection there as they pulled the guard Jake, Boynton from the right side to the left, to try to open up a hole, but it was all for naught.
Great job by the three guys.
Anchor in that line for McEachern right now Henry from Mora Chandler Jones and number 98, the junior.
Mackenzie Billingsley We have a stoppage of play which bringing up a third and 337 except the stage here.
Tonight, we've already had an objection and the person of color Palm 22:13 1016 here in the third quarter, that's Jones.
It's close to the first down yardage in.
He may get there, he needed three and it looks like you picked up for, and for Progress, will take him over the 42 about 241, if you give Walton the first step, and this should be the game plan because of all the weirdness that happened in the last minute and a half of the first half right now, you just got to regroup a little bit, and go, go, do what you do and what, Does is they turn around and they hand the ball to number one and they explode off the ball on the line of scrimmage with those two tackles and they churn out yardage.
And that's just what they did to get.
The first down there, Chandler Jones on the stopping the part of the game, and the give it was the first time and to give his to it.
Look like that was Romberg who stumbles as way for about two yards, which makes it second and about eight.
Let's go downstairs to John Nelson.
Nelly GT real quick with the kelp ha.
harem Ejection that also creates a handicap for their defense in their next game.
So they have a bye week next week.
But the next game that McEachern plays in car arms out of that as well.
So on the bad side, car comes out in two weeks.
But at the same time, it also gives their defensive coordinators chance to game plan without fail pain.
That's where I was arguing on the sidelines.
You get back in this football game that one didn't want to leave, but he got Ejected and that Jones at that point Tyron Jones had 17 carries 133 yards, and add a few more on that tray.
He's in for another big night boy, Gil it so difficult to stop him and it can be so demoralizing for a defense because you may do well against him on back-to-back plays but you get four chances.
There are four downs and they did a great job first down second down and then he comes up and rips off an 8-yard run and picks up a first down.
So it's very demoralizing as a defense.
They've done Well, so far tonight, appending, A Min, even though he's over the century mark as you just mentioned and he continues to run downhill again, you so rønneberg and motion, and the give listed Jones, and he gets into the Indian Territory, close to about the 40-yard line.
Well, spotted about the 42 41 or 42.
I don't anticipate trip Allen getting very creative on this drive at all.
If he can have Tyrone Jones pick up to 34 yards of Kerry, I think he'll be content doing that.
Although over the last quarter port and a half, McLeod has looked a little more comfortable in the pocket second and six.
Again, a 44, Jones, little razzle-dazzle, the role by McLeod has a diamond 25, 22-yard line of flag from the defensive back.
Before Romberg is pushed out at about the 21 yard line.
A hold on the plate dreaming.
Yes.
Stone Romberg was out there and you're asking a lot of a wide receiver to engage with a corner and keep him block for upwards of five or six seconds.
He did good initially but as Tyrant Jones excuse me as Romberg a railing gets a little closer to him.
He has to turn him a little bit and he holds Christian forward and that one's coming back.
That was a nice game.
Game two.
You see a good shot of Park on MacLeod.
That's mr. Romberg.
It sure, seems like McLeod Gil is a lot more comfortable on the move.
And, of course, you know, Stones daddy, at Westminster remember that, huh?
Gerry Weber A lot of family.
Let's go downstairs to John Nelson Nelly and we talked about Tyrant Jones and we've seen tonight in the first two and a half quarters, McEachern is game plan.
It has to do with gang.
Tackling the making sure that there are a lot of those golden helmets against the white helmets.
When number one has the football, aah, Kyle Hockman admitted.
This is going off as we Face me several years and there's a lot of stress its positions for us.
But the key in the Situation's is Gang.
Tackling one, two, three, four, guys.
Right there around the football is they bring Byron Jones down.
John was really right on that play because they gave it to Jones.
He squirmed his way and pushed his way Twist and Turn close to about the inside, the 35 yard line.
Jordan, Burgess linebacker doing a good job.
You love just holding onto Tyrant Jones and waiting for help.
Sometimes that's all you can do is a Defender 706 and County Walton trailing by 7 and driving the football second and five at the 33.
You see the Man in Motion that's Rowling and they give is to that work.
Once again, Jones turning the corner under heavy Pursuit pushes way flag on a plane.
Will bring it back.
They spot a hold And we'll try it again.
That was a legitimate call as Tyron.
Jones tried to bounce the play outside, it's designed to cut up inside.
And when he kicks it out, his linemen is engaged with a Defender and he holds onto him.
And that's what allows Jones to get the corner.
Good call.
It's coming back.
Just a reminder.
Next week here on football Fridays, we will be at Centennial.
Take a look at our first.
Look at the Etowah Eagles and what they have to offer taking on Yeah, I'm really anxious to see what Etowah has in the tank because that will tell me how good Region 5 is, and let me know what kind of competition Walton.
It's going to have moving forward throughout the season.
We also get a chance to take a look at some tips.
QV shakes Rosenberg to new head coaches as well.
So we have a lot in store next week and we get things started with Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch part of the football.
Friday's here, cheap.
Oopy the past.
From a cloud over the djsmithwick across, the plane is snuffed out.
And that that was a loss.
It was Christian Ford came up from his Corner position.
Does a great job all the motion comes over here to the near side and then Parker McLeod pivots and goes back to Ryan Craig and Christian Ford, it's not break off of his assignment.
He's there waiting to make the tackle little trickeration by trip Allen and it doesn't work.
So what was second longest third and even It'll bring up a third and long and third and 15, third and 20 correct that add five more on at the 40 45 55 and counting down here in the third quarter at Cantrell Stadium MacLeod unload future on, there is Rowling and Rowling is pulled down at about the 25 yard line.
And pulling up on the stock for McEachern was Glenn Frazier and they're working at telling him like now that looks like cramps.
You hear some news in odds from the stands and that's Walton, wanting a horse-collar tackle here because that was short of a first down.
And it's now, fourth down, had they gotten the horse collar penalty.
It would have moved the chains.
So that's why you hear the oohs and aahs.
And now we got some cramps on the field.
That looks like the senior middle linebacker, Glenn, Frazier has been everywhere tonight go everywhere tonight.
Caught it.
35 scheme, that Kyle Hockman and his staff employee here tonight.
And of course, the linebackers were, you know, you look from top to bottom last week Frazier.
The leading tackler last week, ten tackles the Parham and Christian Wade, all apart of that.
35, that played very well against Grayson and a lost their leading here right now.
Just a reminder that another signature of gpb's original production, along with tonight's broadcast, be sure to catch gpb's Emmy award-winning.

All right, back here Powder Springs.
They continue to work on on Fraser, the outstanding, McEachern medical staff and lots to talk about here to meet Dorsey and Company and of course, McEachern full of Fame and really some great names on that board.
There's been some great ones.
Rory, Anderson South Carolina to South Carolina guys, Marcus Marcus Roberts, Adam Meadows of fantastic offensive, lineman jimmi Klim instead Lauren.
Gerald McGrath, AJ Suggs may be the most popular one because he took this team only one to take this team to a state championship in 98, although they lost in that game to Valdosta 11.
Playing this drive and that's the give to the Tyrant Jones Straight Ahead.
He's close to a first down.
That's he call by trip Allen on fourth down and that is invoke.
That is a first down and they got what they needed and forth.
They meet they was forth and forth that wasn't that they were able to get it and they may have caught the defense for McEachern off-guard.
Just a little bit at certainly caught me off guard, just to take you back.
This drive started at 11:55 to go going on.
Seven minutes now or 12 plays right now and you see the man in motion and that is Gibson and they Snap and McCloud was able to get underneath it.
But there's also the Indians there, and Indians may have recovered it Park in the cloud.
Just hopped up without the ball and he was the only Raider in the area.
I think this is McEachern balls.
Take a look at this.
Both sides are in the bottle.
It is miki-chan football.
So I costly turnover on the bad Exchange.
And let's take a look at the replay tree McDaniel.
Take us through another bad.
Snap third one that we've seen so far tonight in Mcleod he initially has it, right?
But it just gets ripped away from him.
Once he stands up without the ball, you know, the ball belongs to McEachern of look.
Like it was a bad exchange between he and Griffin, Wilkerson.
Nope.
And they just gave the ball back to Walton and Gil.
After seeing our replay, that was the right call.
Walton will retain possession.
All right, let's take a look at it and when and then you see Rocky Rocky photographer, okay?
Yeah, unquestionably, McLeod has possession of this ball.
Great reversal of the begin hats off.
Once again to the official they have.
You said it Gil earlier, they had their hands full and more.
They've done a great job so far.
You see, Kyle Hockman, not happy.
But the they got it, right?
And the good call and bolt will remain in the Hands of the Walton Raiders yo I suspect that no matter what the outcome of this game, this game is going to be talked about for a couple days.
You got a whole holiday weekend here to talk about who was wronged and who wasn't whoever comes out on the short end of the stick is going to be absolutely irate.
You rarely see this kind of emotion out of Kyle Hockman, he is a very cool customer so the Raiders retain possession First and Ten at the 23 of the Indian, you see Gibson in motion and the give is to Jones Adelaide hand off.
He gets Side and he's in Pursuit and he still with the football gets to the 20 down to about the 19.
And again, yellow, in the play flags are thrown everywhere.
It's just wave after wave after wave of blue shirts.
Last week, when Brookwood had Tyrant Jones teamed up in the backfield, all he had to do is break a tackle and he was gone, fantastic Pursuit there by the linebacker.
Mike Sherman, who scored a touchdown on offense, so far tonight, watch the second and third effort by the blue shirts, missed tackle.
And here comes Sherman hanging on for dear life, waiting for help, and he gets it and there's another an injured player down, as well.
Justin Pendleton the outside linebacker for McEachern and there's also a penalty on the play, and we believe that that's a face mask.
Their two injured players stand.
There was a face mask, smorc cramps.
And, you know, Rocky talked about that with John, this is a hot night, very humid, and liquids.
You need to get liquids inside that system on both sides.

Hold it really, really a good app.
13 plays and 7 minutes and 33 seconds have elapsed time.
They've had it for the whole third quarter and following Right Guard and getting further into McEachern territory, and being on Earth is number one, again, Jones Christian forward among those that off being led off the field because the cramps and you see Kyle Hockman.
Congratulations to Alan Chadwick.
Our good friend at Marist, 300th Victory here tonight.
Congratulations.
Go out to the Alan, the turn by Jones, close to the 10 about at the 11th.
And again, Walton is had this football, folks, the her the whole third quarter and 329 is left and that is another first down.
And you see how it's affected the Indians defense.
A lot of guys suffering with cramps and wearing them out and Pendleton just came back in.
After cramping, up to plays ago, those guys are chasing Tyrone Jones all over the field, but he's still able to eke out first downs and keep the drive moving first and goal at the 12.
317 Gibson in motion, McLeod under Center.
The give straight ahead is Jones at delay, moves forward continues to churn, and churn, and Learn and work in that clock and I tell you what, Trey, I'm not so sure the Indians will get ahold of his football in the third quarter.
What is thing is gone and we talked about that Walton offensive line coup Plano and Boynton and that crew and Wilkerson and just blowing out at the point of attack for trip Allen and Company second and goal at the 10 that's MacLeod on the rollout under every Pursuit.
He's going to keep it slides.
His game pushes forward and is pushed back and in on the stop was Mike.
Sherman on the tackle and still a lot of Indian Defenders slow getting up.
Take a look at the replay and let's listen in.
This is what the parabolic mics will give you.
Gil.
Mike Sherman has been in on the last three tackles and now they'll be a stoppage in play because now some Walton guys are cramping up.
You've got Henry Rowling down near the two-yard line here on the near sideline and he's cramping up, and he's got a water bottle in there.
Stretching out his calves as well.
This break right here because of the cramps will help both teams.
This drive has been so long, not only because the offenses executed for Walton, but they've had a few penalties, which set them back, and they've been able to overcome those penalties.
These and probably the biggest play in the drive was the fumbled snap that they originally awarded to McEachern Walton maintains possession.
And right now they've set themselves up with an opportunity to score but they're still down by sevengill even though they're in field.
Goal range is a huge third down coming up on third and fourth.
They really want to move the chains and set up a first and goal and we saw Kyle Hockman who was upset at the call of that play.
But that was the correct call that it was.
That's what our pictures showed of Commander.
Steve G crew.
What when they slowed it down.
We saw that McCloud was able to get the football and retain possession and you called it, exactly right upstairs.
This is the 18th play of this drive.
Let's take a look at the Walton schedule, as they move forward.
Trey McDaniel, take us through.
We don't really know what to expect out of this schedule will know more next week when they play Etowah.
But the big game circled on their calendar, will be on October 5th against Lasker.
We saw what Lasker is capable of especially on offense earlier.
And then those last two games of the season atewa in Roswell somehow, it always works out when these region games, enter the ninth and tenth week, everything irons itself out.
Then what we do know is they have an off week next week, in a good own at a right time.
This drive started at the 29, third and goal at the 5.
A full house backfield behind McLeod, see the man in motion and the give his the one that's Jones sleeps outside.
Stiff arm gets down to about 33 and some yellow, a yellow hecky comes out.
On the play.
And do we have a face Master?
A is that it preliminary signal it's in the neighborhood of one and if they call, it would be on Jalen white.
You rarely see Jones not able to make the corner.
But Jalen white was step for step with Tyrone Jones and brought him down in the.
Another thing to keep in mind, he needed to get to the two and a half yard line for a first down.
And I'm not sure based on the spot, he did to the Penalty very important and it is a face mask and it'll give them a first and goal.
The kitchen getting a whole lot of fresh troops in among them.
Number 4, Glenn, Frazier.
Take a look at this.
And here's the face man's coming up right there.
Here's Jalen white.
We don't get a shot of the front of tyrant Jones face masks, but he got up asking for one and he received one.
Now its first and goal, you got to believe it's number one time first and goal at the one Walton has had this football, folks, the whole third quarter, this is a big Drive.
Almost fumbled snap book.
Number one is in Tyrant, Jones touchdown, Walton pending the extra point, we will be tied here in Powder Springs.
Byron Jones.
Second touchdown of the night, the first one, the long variety, the second one, the short variety.
And this should not the game of remember McEachern missed an extra point earlier, because Taj Griffin, celebrated going into the End Zone on his first touchdown, and moved the p80 back to a 25-yard p80.
They missed it.
And that's why they have 20 points and not 21 Evan a price On for the extra point to tie this football game up and like Trey said that missed extra point looming.
Large right now for the McEachern Indians Let's take a look at the touchdown or on courtesy of our good friends.
At the technical college system of the great state of Georgia.
Great blocking on the outside, getting low low man wins on the goal line.
And it also helps to have Tyrant Jones and Glenn.
Frazier, the outstanding linebacker being helped off the field.
That's a 20 play, 71 yard Drive, eight minutes and 36 seconds and Joan.
So one yard score now that I 28 Aries 187 yards for that guy on the sidelines right now, the extra point by prices up, it looks good and it is good.
And folks we are knotted up here at Powder Springs at Cantrell Stadium.
The nightcap of the big chicken double header here in metro Atlanta.
Tonight, you take a look at the technical college system of Georgia scoring drive by them all.
Graders, 20 Flay 71 yards and look at the important number train McDaniel, eight, ticks 8 minutes and 36 seconds of clock, and you see the Defenders for McEachern?
They're all sitting down on the bench right now, getting a well-deserved rest.
They did a good job on that drive.
The problem was every time it was third and short or third and launch, somehow Walton was able to convert and keep the chains moving.
You just cannot ask 11 guys who are Wrapping up, by the way, to chase around number one, and have success on that many plays.
It's just not realistically possible.
I think their defense is doing a fantastic job, which is why it's 22:20 here and not 3220.
Number one, getting a fill up a lot of liquid, he's been running and running and running and he has two touchdowns here tonight.
And right now folks we got a good 20 to 20.
Ten minutes and 36 seconds on that clock consumed by the Walton.
Raiders straight.
If he can about to touch the ball for the first time in the second half, I price kicking off and it is taken in The End Zone by Griffin.
He will not come out with it.
So the Indians will take over First and Ten at their own.
It was a minute 24 of clock in the third quarter train McDaniel.
So kill you have to imagine that going into the locker room at halftime after the momentum change and kelp arm, getting a ejected.
Coach Hockman.
Has to tell his team look, we don't want to revisit what happened last week.
We felt like we defeated Grayson in the first half.
We came out and let it slip away.
We don't want to come out in the second half and let this one slip away.
But what can you do when your opponent drives down the field and ties it up and takes off up?
Almost 12 minutes of clock time to do.
So right now, you need to sustain something, whether it resulting points or not, you gotta keep your defense on the Gasps, it's been over an hour since the Indians had the football until now Clemens goes going to roll, right?
And find a receiver out in the flat of that passes complete.
That's Chris.
Okay.
And he gets close to about the 25 yard line and they push back.
Let's set the scene right now.
Guilt.
I retrain McDaniel saying, good morning to you and yours on this Labor Day, weekend, and 2020, McEachern, and Walton.
We've had a whole lot of stuff here.
Tonight, we've had an ejection we've had touchdowns on the ground.
We've had just about everything.
You can imagine kickoff returns you name it.
We've had it here tonight and we're hoping you and yours are enjoying.
What is an outstanding Labor Day weekend of football.
Great High School football in the great state of Georgia.
Here on Georgia, public broadcasting second, at 8:00 at the 22.
And that is the give going straight ahead.
It looked like it was Griffin.
Taj Griffin and he's already had one touchdown here tonight.
Two touchdowns.
Correct on stand corrected.
Of course the second to what the second was a kickoff return, I think that another outstanding run and even the man of the hour, we're working our way down straight and this third core.
Absolutely.
You see at the top of your screen under 10 and counting down, I'll get off a play.
That's Clemens under heavy Pursuit and he's brought down and on the tackle.
It looked like Williams in Hot Pursuit.
I saw a monster over there and it was It was Dre on Williams, the junior 510 210 pounds on a sack, and that's the end of the third quarter with the score McEachern.
20 and Alton 20 folks.
Hold up, four fingers, because we're headed in a full on a late night, early morning football game.
That's what us.
And he's been the man of the hour, we'll be right back after this broadcast of this program is made possible in part by the following As leaders.

Back here at Cantrell Stadium guilty, retrain McDaniel, John Nelson, and our outstanding staff, a 20/20 ballgame as we get into the fourth quarter and everybody jumping up and down on this Labor Day weekend, I got more energy than I do with this so I can tell you that and planning for McEachern will be Jones.
The ball is going to take a bounce and tire and Joel is gonna take it.
He gets over the 50-yard line, over the 45 and into McEachern territory that the 44 upon of about 37 yards killed, Trey McDaniel, there are some punt returners that the coach says, you know what, I don't want you taking the ball on a bounce but you have tire and Jones back there.
One of the best players in the state.
You say, if you get your hands on the ball, please do and now they've got the ball inside, McEachern territory and that young man has 32.
Yards, receiving 201 yards.
Rushing he just coming off of a 4-yard touchdown shooting a 2-yard touchdown run, remember where we last Saw Tyrone Jones before we went to halftime sitting at the 10-yard line on the other side of the field with a heart knows.
Right?
He comes back out and gets his team off the deck and they're able to tie the game.
And right now they want to try to do it again and get the first lead of the my fence and tell her tell her fans and audience what he did last week.
30 25 touchdowns and Gil you called it.
You said I expect more of the same tonight.
Not as gaudy as last week, but certainly on his way and when it's the fourth quarter and you're a running football team, and you're going up against a defense that just spent 12 minutes on the field right in about an hour of regular time on the football field you just run it right at them and try to break their spirit and Mama.
There goes dead man.
Again, number one, there's his head coach Rocky Hidalgo.
It will be first down and about seven, excuse me, a sec.
Down and seven to go a game 3.
And the flat is DJ snip and he pushes the ball ahead before he is swarmed under by few Defenders for McEachern and among them over there.
Making the stop is number 91.
Devon Boyce.
Gil, we talk a lot about Coach Rocky Hidalgo being a character and being passionate.
This is what he said about his offensive unit this week.
We want a bloody people's noses, we want to run over them.
We want to make the other team want to quit and we can't do that.
Throwing the football.
We do that.
Run in the fourth row and they run the football.
Effectively that's enough for another first down.
And number one continues to run downhill, they needed one and he got a little bit more that's down to the 35 of the Indians and then I smell another drive a time consuming.
Driving again we can't say it enough.
Tracy McDaniel the ability of that offensive line and you see trip Alan and Rocky Hidalgo and Rocky Hidalgo tell you the first position I'm going to coach will be the offensive linemen and they're blowing everybody out at the point of attack First and Ten at the 2910 for Tina left in this football game here tonight at Powder Springs with Todd at 20, glad to have you with us here on GPB.
That's number one and that's Jones, and he was brought down I'll saw Chandler Jones over there.
Look like MacKenzie Billingsley was in on the stop as well and again you got guys cramping up alligator and Gil because of the cramps you have number 93, Antonio Richardson in the game playing defensive end and he's actually the young man who was cramping up right there.
So he is a backup and he's in the game just to put some fresh legs in.
As soon as you put them in there, he makes a tackle and then cramps up himself and has to come out.
More Personnel changes for McEachern and among those coming in for McEachern right now is 90.
Devon Boyce.
Second and seven at the 25 951 under the 10-minute Mark, guilt, Irene, train McDaniel, John, Nelson, and Mark, Harmon and are great too and we're so glad to have you with us here.
Tonight this morning on Labor Day weekend now, Saturday morning, McLeod delayed, handoff, that's number one Jones, he's Movin and Shakin and grooving and getting close to around the 15 and yet another first down Moving them chains and at arm continues to go front and center.
What's your knowledge that what you're not going to see here?
Gil is a sense of urgency from the Walton offense.
They want to take as much clock off as possible.
They run a draw here.
First time tonight, with the draw, because they've been a little bit more successful going to the air.
So they show pass and they give it the number one.
No surprise there First and Ten at the 16, the Indians fake Blix and back out, that's Jones turning.
He's looks like he has eyes for the End Zone.
I need touchdown touchdown.
15 yards.
Number three on the night for tyre and Jones approaching the kind of numbers that he had last week 16 carries 236 yards.
One, two, three, touchdowns.
Look at this young man, go rot Henry, Rowling setting the edge and the rest of it is done by number one, breaking tackle.
After tackle, your heart has to go out to the McEachern defense.
They have been on the field, almost the entire second half thus far and there's still there.
Out on the field.
I McEachern Defender, but we can't say enough about the offensive line tray of Walton.
Just blowing people out.
And number one has been the beneficiary and again, more cramps.
Next week, be sure to catch us here on football Fridays at all access pass.
As we welcome in Jen hobby of the perch show, as she kicks off gpb's football Friday's Mark Harmon Grace Olson and our outstanding group, the beginning, next Friday, September 7th, 7:30 p.m. live from Centennial, High School, Friday nights, and Georgia will never be the same a more fun.
When Jen hobby is aboard, GPB Sports football Fridays and all accents.
As followed by the Centennial Etowah game.
Beginning at 7:30 on GPB September 7th, guilt Tyron, Jones is, cramping up a little bit on the sidelines and let me give you some stats and seven and a half.
Quarters to start, the 2012 campaign, eight touchdowns and five hundred and thirty nine yards thus far for Tyrone Jones and being carried off right now.
We hate to see.
This is Devon Boyce And you see the scoring drive.
Six plays 44 yards, the time when possession two minutes and 36 seconds.
Technical College, a good systems of the great state of Georgia, providing that for you here tonight.
The touchdown by Jones, the pending extra point by price.
To give the Walton Raiders and Rocky Hidalgo as 7 point lead with 909 in the final period.
You get an End Zone.
Look at the extra point attempt by Price the high snap, the kick is up.
It looks good and it is good.
Couple looks at the touchdown train McDaniel, take us through.
This is Tyron Jones 68 carry of the season so far in just seven and a half quarters and it goes for six more points.
Finally, for Walton, they take their first lead of the game and now it's time to see if mceachin can answer back heel hits time in my opinion to see what the dynamic duo can do.
I'm not talking about Batman and Robin.
I'm talking about the Thai, Clemens, and Raj, Griffin size, Taj Griffin, and type lemons.
The take a look at the Walton plays and look at the disparity Tyron Jones, 36 opportunities with the football, the rest of the team, 22.
That's how much they depend on that man.
And I can't sit of enough.
Mama, there goes that man again and we some earlier in week one down at the Corky Kell.
Last week, five touchdowns over 300 yards and they do tonight almost they racked up.
Three hundred and fifty nine yards against Brookwood last week, 325 of them both rushing and through the air for compliments of tyrant Jones.
And, you know what we talked about this last week?
I don't throw a stat apps you folks last year Tyrant, Jones, two thousand, three hundred and seventy-five yards.
This for the whole year 33 touchdowns you take a look at tonight train McDaniel, how many 33 add-on to the five last week.
That's eight.
Okay, And let's go downstairs to John Nelson.
Hold on.
Thought, let's go to Nelly Nelly.
Good morning.
Good morning GT.
And Trey you see what's happening right now.
We're getting the water breaks with all of the cramping going on, for both of the teams, the coaching staffs gone to the officials and it's like, okay we need the water breaks now.
And you're seeing hopefully at least some kind of a curbing of all the cramping that's going on, especially on the McEachern.
Sideline.
So hopefully, the hydration will help out here on Saturday morning backups Good morning, breakfast breakfast, and John.
That's right.
Well, Gil's gonna make Denver, omelet and coffee in a couple of hours and we're off the air so be ready for that.
We got to get we got to make sure commander makes this flight because Steve Graham gets ready to head over to Houston.
We got a breakfast for him as it gets ready to go over there to do another son.
price will be kicking off and deep will be a triumvirate from the heater and led by Taj Griffin.
It'll be Taj Griffin, five yards in the end zone and he decides not to come out with it.
So the Indians will take over First and Ten at their own 20 trailing 27 to 29.
Sure if it were up to him he would have tried.
He's already taken 199 yards to the house but of course, in high school if he receives it in the end zone, it's by rule of touch back and he's going to take the field with the first team offense.
Gil, we saw what Ty Clements was able to do against Grayson last week.
228, total yards of offense.
We need to restate that he is the backup quarterback tie.
Griffin seniors actually, the starter John Nelson, told us what was going on with him.
He's able to do some light running, but not able to practice or play Clemens is a capable backup.
He needs to touch the ball and they need to do some more of that zone replay and see if he can break One.
Plumbing is like weird to Griffin turning the corner.
Give her 30 35 pushes his way close to the 40 yard line and that may be close to a first down.
That's a great start for the McEachern offense.
Moving the chains on the first play, giving the ball to their, what has been their most dynamic players so far tonight in Taj Griffin and watch the young man.
Just kick it outside.
He's taking it to the outside.
Every time that's the mark of a young inexperienced player just getting it done with his feet.
He's able to do that because he's just that much faster than everybody else on the field.
Excellent blocking.
True.
It's the first time for the Indians at their own 39.
They Trail 27 to 28, 59 under the 9-minute, mark in this football game here tonight.
And we give the Fake Gear to the Griffin and Clemens will keep it, but he had snuffed out and he loses a couple.
And among those over there, making the Stop and for the Walton, Raiders as Williams.
We called his number tonight.
Watch Kyle Whitaker here.
Nozzle, Carl Whitaker, you not get freaked out by that zone read, we talked about, he keyed in on the quarterback and he dropped him for a loss.
If I'm coach Hockman, that doesn't deter me.
One bit, I let Clements touch the ball on every play and have the option of running her passing second and 15 at the 34.
And we give take give his to Griffin and Clemens will keep it close to first down yardage near Midfield, yet another Indians first down and you gotta do that.
This is an eternity on the plot, Gill with eight minutes to go in the game, only trailing by a touchdown.
We forget because it's been so long ago that McEachern actually had momentum in this football game all the way down to about a minute and 27 seconds to go in the first half.
Total offensive plays here.
The second half Holton, McEachern 6.
That is the give the Griffin turns the corner, with that AA.
You 100 meter speed track speed and he has brought down and also over there was Chris okay who got in the middle of the scrum.
That was a gain of about.
Of about 4.
And that'll make it second and six at the 40 5732 to go.
I want to give Straight Ahead the number of 44.
For McEachern or 14 correctly that Sherman on the counter, and another flag on the play Gill and it looks like the preliminary signal says it's against Walton and that's what McEachern is hoping for.
This could certainly dampen their efforts.
They're having success here with the dynamic duo that we just talked about and Clemens and Griffin.
And this is certainly going to help the cause and be good enough to move the chains for a first down.
So McEachern trying to seize some of that momentum that they relinquished on the last two drives, which both went for scores for the Walton.
Raiders.
That was a big and too because that it was, they'll mark it off and that'll put it right down at about the 28th.
721 encounter, you get a good.
Look at the head coach of McEachern.
Kyle Hockman, and of course, came over here from candles.
And whoops done an outstanding job.
They miss you and Smyrna, I'll tell you that First and Ten at the 29 and Clemens calls a timeout.
Has he play by the junior backup quarterback?
He doesn't like what he sees the look.
He got from the Walton defense obviously didn't jive with the play that they had called, so he calls timeout.
They're going to try to regroup McEachern is driving at the 7-minute.
Mark Walton up seven.
We'll be right back.

Thank you for your support.
Back here, the final quarter at the Powder Springs Cantrell.
Stadium Walton with a seven point lead, but McEachern right now.
Driving guilt ivory, trade McDaniel and John Nelson.
Glad to have you with us here on a Friday night now, turn Saturday morning.
A reminder, next week we will be at Centennial for the egos of Etowah call on Centennial and that should be a dynamite football game and our coverage starts at 7:30 Primetime that's coming from the roll.
Jennifer 29, lost it in the end zone.
And it's example, almost picked off five Waltons AJ Smith at about the one, the pass incomplete.
So that'll bring up a second and ten at the Twenty Ninth Ray.
Gill the junior wide receiver split in to be exact Malik Williams does a great job of turning from offensive player to defensive player here to keep the drive going and save the turnover.
He goes up and breaks up.
What would have been an interception by djsmithwick?
With great job here, keeping the drive moving 652 to Second and 10 at the 29.
It's Clemens trying to roll outside and still with the Football, turns the corner and smells pushes him out of bounds.
Close to the 20 little spotted at a bob feet 18.
You can see what about Clemens makes Kyle Hockman, compare him to Robert Griffith.
The third is his Escape ability, but he's still able to keep his eyes.
Downfield should have receiver open up.
He took, what would have been a 3-yard loss and turned it into a 7-yard gain there.
Now, it's third and manageable not necessarily a pass play because of the weapons.
You have in the backfield with Taj, Griffin, third and manageable is trade just said, make it third and five at the 22, 644 this football game.
27 to 28 Sherman in the football game right now, behind Clements Williams split out wide, a jump ball, and it jump pass and it falls incomplete.
It was intended for okay, and it falls incomplete at about the 10-yard line.
Not bring up fourth down.
Not a bad idea guilt but the safety.
Go past the safety doesn't bite here.
So when he jumps to throw the pass he's expecting to have his tight end wide open but he's not he's covered up there by number 32 and that's Justice.
Bailey does a great job on that play and now it's Fourth.
And you have no choice but because of Waltons ability to sustain drives.
You're not sure if you'll touch the ball again, so you have to go for it on fourth down, all right, fourth and five and Tremec, Daniel called it exactly what fourth and five of the 22 and the Indians are gonna go for it.
They Trail by 7.
Clemens backs out under Senate moves in the shotgun Walton.
Fake the blitz came with it, but may have been caught being in a neutral zone and called for all sides, yield, Ray Vaughan, Williams.
The junior is so upset with himself right now because McEachern had no intention of running a play right there.
They were trying to draw Walton offsides and they were able to do so.
Dre Vaughan Williams jumped into the neutral zone and it's a penalty.
And it looks to be good enough for a first down and that will move the chains.
That's a heartbreaker.
If you're coach Rocky Hidalgo because now you new life has been breathing this offense Taj, Griffin coming off.
They keep Sherman in Sherman should be gassed right now.
He's one of the guys cramping up on defense or most definitely defensive coordinator for stood is not happy about that first and ten at the 1700's backside looks for receiver of the middle has them and that's it.
That is a touchdown to TJ rahming.
and pending the extra point, folks, we are going to be tied You'll how many times do you see it?
A team makes a costly are and changes the tide of the football game.
And on the very next play, McEachern executes for by far, Guild the best pass play, they've ran all night and it's one of the few times.
They've had a receiver in space tonight and this time Clemens doesn't miss him Romney's there to make the catch.
Then it's Dominguez on for the extra point, we're going to tie this football game up.
Should he be successful High snap?
It's up, it gets through.
So, three Lopes at the touchdown and you're going to see this courtesy of her.
Gait great friends of the technical college system of the great state of Georgia, Trey McDaniel.
So after missing the jump pass to the tight end on third down and getting the offsides penalty on fourth down, Clemens steps up and shows his Poise great job.
Going up.
The ladder and coming down with the biggest touchdown pass of the night.
Biggest touchdown of the Night by either.
Either team mceachran, pies it back up and Gil.
That's got to breathe a little confidence into the sidelines here for the McEachern Indians and rahming able to back in the end zone for the touchdown.
And again, the replays courtesy of our good friend scoring drive.
Also by our good friends with TC G, learn more earn more, the Indian scoring Drive.
Nine plagues 80 yards the elapsed time, 2 minutes and 30 Six sticks, tray Gil.
It's been a long time since the guys in the blue.
Jerseys had something to smile about on the sidelines and they sure do now now they know this is anyone's game and just as coach Hockman or excuse me, coach a doggo predicted coming out after halftime talking to John Nelson.
It's going to be a war of attrition here to see who wins this football game.
You just got a shot of a Romany, and he's had an outstanding night, three catches, 60 yards.
And he's got some big ones when needed.
You just saw the sidelines and of course, Hockman, who trade just alluded to.
And now, Rocky Hidalgo, his counterpart on the Walton Sidelines and we're knotted up in a good inhere in Powder Springs.
27 06:33 left in the final period and Trey, you know, you look at this football game it's been ebb and flow back and forth.
Momentum who has it who doesn't have it?
And who's going to end up with a cramp sleep at ejection, we had we've had a whole lot of stuff here tonight.
This is a case of two.
Very good foot.
Ball teams playing their hearts out on a Friday night and that's what high school football is all about.
Whoever loses this football game is going to have a very sour taste in their mouths, because each coach can go back and point to a couple plays that could have made the difference.
Perhaps the offsides there.
Andre Vaughan Williams that just occurred, which gave the kitchen an opportunity to score.
And you could point to many other things that have happened in this football game either.
One of these teams is going to feel lucky to come out of here with the victory.
You talked about in the top of the broadcast.
We got a No team and Owen, one team, you could have a 2 and 0 team in 2012 team after this game, but that would not say anything negative about mceachin because I have been nothing but impressed.
And what I've seen from this team and almost two games so far to start the exactly we were impressed with him last week, and played two and a half quarters with Grace and ultimately losing by the count of 31 to 12, but clearly played well and they come here and they play another top team in Walton big winners last week.
35.
5:24 of Rookwood.
And right now, we're knotted up to 27 degrees, and you have to commend coach Hockman, for scheduling, these type of games.
In his out of region schedule, only the region schedule goes counts towards what happens in your seating in the playoffs.
So he wants to come and play the best competition.
His quote to us was if you want to be the best, you have to beat the best.
So these games to him are measuring sticks and building blocks, and if he's able to get a victory out of it, it's even that much better.
And we got a little extracurricular here, Gil and a penalty.
And I think wave Christian.
Ben Wade is going to be one of the ones that was a flag on the play.
Because after Jones was tackled, they took it a step further and watch what happens after the whistle blows some aggression.
And Gil, we just talked about coaches being able to point to a play here.
Play there a mistake here, mistake there that could possibly cost your team, the game.
That is one of them right there.
You can't be making these kind of mistakes as the clock ticks down in a tie ball game, against tough competition.
Like this, you just have to keep Voice.
That's roughly.
Also in the middle of it and you see the reaction right there of number 53.
It was in on it too, and that's Christian way, First and Ten at the 45 for Walton, courtesy of that big penalty, 616 I'm counting down here thought of strings that Cantrell Stadium, the loan back behind McLeod is number one moving over Midfield into Indian Territory if that's down at a 45.
You're running downhill and among those on the stop James Bryce.
Your, this is where offensive lineman make a name for themselves.
We've talked a lot about it in the Brookwood game at the Kell classic, and we've talked a lot about them tonight, and deservedly.
So Brandon poblano Joker, The Sinner Griffin Wilkinson sophomore, Eric Smith.
And of course, Kentucky bound, Jake Boynton, they've done a phenomenal job tonight.
I think Boynton has been a difference because they got him back.
They didn't have last week, 13.
24 248 yards for that man.
And he still adds on to that total the 35 down to about the 33.
And I see another Drive in the life of one Walton Raiders football, team kill watch Tyrant Jones here.
He moves.
So subtly against the defense.
He chops his feet and he's only moving, laterally a couple of inches but it's just enough to get the defense off-kilter, right?
He's able to make so many.
A little subtle moves, he's so Shifty.
And what did we talk about last week?
The thing that separates him from the pack is his wonderful vision and he's shown it off again tonight.
In addition to having another gear.
That's number one again, seeing that vision is straight, just talked about singles, way through and only stop for the Indians.
The number 53 at Christian way, but that earlier trip, it took Glenn, Frazier went along for the ride and then a Christian Ford was able to There's your mom for you, see these numbers and there's approaching what he had last week 40 carries.
This is unbelievable folks.
263 yards and three touchdowns.
And that's 70 like carries so far.
We haven't quite played two games.
I think Hidalgo got a little criticism.
Bring some outside forces last week about how often he used Tyrant Jones.
Well, he tells you exactly how he feels about that criticism this week he just keeps on giving it to him.
This is the 41st and he's gone.
He is gone to the touchdown and Zone folks and he's in my goodness.
And there, no Flags.
I mean, this is we're watching history.
We're watching just an incredible Talent, 33 yards, the touchdown for tyrant Jones.
That's number four.
He had five last week folks.
Take a look at this again.
We're going to the extra point but after the extra point by priced, we're going to show you that incredible 141 carries right now.
296 yards, another 300 Yard night in the making the extra point by prices up.
It looks good and it is good 34 to 27, Tracy McDaniel.
Take us through history here tonight.
Gil.
Here's your replay.
Technical College of Georgia.
Brings it to us and watch Tyron Jones.
Once he gets out an open space, you can wave.
Goodbye to that young man.
His fourth touchdown of the night ninth of the season and Gil.
I know passing his taking over all leagues at all levels but running the football is still the way to win football games in the fourth quarter, yeoman's work by the defense for McEachern in the first quarter.
The second quarter in the third quarter but you just can't ask them to be on the field for almost 40.
The second half and contain a player of that caliber you just can't do it and with that offensive line The Perfect Storm combined with that running back, you just don't have an answer.
That's going drug, courtesy of Technical College, system's of the great state of Georgia, the Walton Raiders scoring drive, five plays 73 yards, the elapsed time, two minutes and eight seconds and mr. Jones 42 carries folks, 296 yards and four touchdowns.
Let's go downstairs.
John Nelson.
Where does this rank in history?
You are the man.
You are the professor.
You are the man who knows it?
All, I know some things Gil right now with 296 is of, that's the number that we're going with.
Michael boydstun has the school record at 3:29.
Four times Walton Runners have gone over.
300 yards, Tyron Jones last week, Justin Forte twice and then boydstun against Alpharetta with 329.
So he's only 33 away from the school record, Mercy Me.
Well, I'll tell you what, you may not know how great you are, but you and Tommy Palmer no history and Lucy history here tonight and the person of mr. Jones Griffin takes the football love to kick off, gets it over the 20 up to the 22.
And there he is.
Mama, there goes that man again, and remember when he came off the field after his last touchdown, they were having to stretch out his calves, like it.
One else here tonight because of cramping.
We've talked a lot about the humidity and the need for hydration.
Unfortunately, for these teams, it's a little too little too late when the cramping comes because you're trying to do this hydration on Thursday or Friday.
At game time, it's a little bit too late.
So he's doing it a little, a little nicked up, and you wouldn't be able to tell Clemens brings his Indians out.
They Trails by 7 34 to 27, and he's going to keep himself Plumbing to gets close to the 35 yard line.
But down at about the 34, Then on the stop was Robert McCarthy.
Another look at the replay.
Trey read option.
Once again, a huge gaping hole.
Nice tackle downfield but not before, he picks up the first down, this is what you have to do for the remainder of the drive.
You don't have to air it out because there's plenty of time with four minutes left.
You have all three of your timeouts remaining as well at Sherman turning the corner.
He gets into Raider territory, over the 45 inside the 45 down to about the 42.
That'll be a first down another first down for the Indians as they continue to keep this drive and they Trail in his football game 3427 and have three minutes and 49 seconds of clock to work with first down and 10 at the 42 of wilted.
That's Clements the give on that.
The delay is to Sherman running downhill, 35 30.
I brought down at about the Walton 30-yard line, and in on the stop for Walton was rich Gibson.
What a great job here for the senior, Mike Sherman who comes in to spell Taj Griffin.
He's been playing linebacker almost all night.
He was one of the guys that we saw cramping up earlier.
He's toad The Rock now back-to-back times 42.
Nice chunks of yardage.
No quit in this new teaching team taking on the personality of their head coach how Hopkins.
Let's go from corner to corner but he got he may have gotten to and Gibson was over there.
I'm also over there.
So number 42, Over there during on Williams as well.
And it'll bring up about a second and about seven.
Three, oh nine and Counting.
Great job on this possession.
By the front guys for McEachern averaging 279 pounds.
Straight Ahead.
That's Griffin.
Over the 25 inside the 25 down to about the 23 of running running downhill to 50 and Counting.
That's how much time we have left in this football game in regulation times folks, 3427 and what has been a late night early morning for us here in Powder Springs at Cantrell, Stadium guilt, I retrain McDaniel tray.
Now remember because of the Mist point after early early in this football game a touchdown here would have put them up in the extra point put them up by a point.
Now, they'll have to kick an extra point to tie it and if they want to win it to be a two-parter, I've stared ahead and that is Griffin.
It shakes a tackle, if you make it in and he does get in touchdown touchdown, Indians, from 23 yards, out by Taj Griffin.
That's Taj.
Griffin's third, touchdown of the night second on the ground.
Remember the long 99 yard kickoff return?
You know, we talked about Jones, but Griffin has had an outstanding and I to train McDaniel.
So pending the extra point, we're gonna go again into a top.
Well, do they go for two here and go for the win so far?
It looks like they're offensive units on.
They're going to go and go like they're gonna they're gonna go for to remember they missed a Pata earlier.
After Taj Griffin committed an infraction and they miss the long, p80 rhyming in motion.
That's Clemens tries to get in Jukes a tackler and doesn't get in for the two-point conversion.
He does.
Does Clemens will be extra effort.
A demoralized DJ Smith.
Sits at the 10-yard line looked like, he got enough of Clemens, but Clemens, somehow skates into the endzone, it's coming right into your living room here.
Brought to you by the technical college system of Georgia.
And he does his knee does not touch the ground.
He gets the ball over the pie line.
Amazing.
And the two guys that have got it done here tonight, for McEachern a sophomore, running back in Taj Griffin and a junior backup quarterback, and tie Clemens.
There's a touchdown first trim McDaniel take us through the replay, courtesy of our good friends from the technical college system's of the great state of Georgia.
We just praise the offensive line, the average of 279 pounds, they get great push up there and you get a really fast guy in the open and that's what happens.
And you think.
Okay, I'll kick the extra point.
The football game up Hockman.
Killer Instinct comes out, goes for to puts it in the hands of his very, very talented Junior quarterback who got it.
Done last week against Grayson and he answers the Bell.
Barely and McEachern has the lead back.
What a game?
35 to 34:6 play 79 yards, two minutes of clock, eaten up, Technical College system's of Georgia with the McEachern, Indians scoring drive safe, With the great people of t c, as G, learn more earn more.
The Taj Griffin, the Sprinter Clinic that a 99 yard kickoff return.
In addition to that two touchdown.
So he has three on tonight, ten cars, and 121 yards.
What a fantastic.
A okay, we'll take off and back to receive for Walton will be Smith and Jones at their own 15.
A backtracking Smith will take it at his own file is up to the 2025, stumbles move forward.
Still on his feet gets close to the 40 yard line and brought down at about 2:38.
Let's set the stage here.
Gil, two minutes and seven seconds to go with two timeouts for Walton.
So you can still run the ball and keep the ball in the middle of the football field.
And we all know, Tyrone Jones propensity for being able to break a long touchdown.
Run will also mention that their kicker Anthony price is good from about 42 yards, anything after that, it's a little dicey.
Thank you.
Tracy McDaniel, you see the timeouts Walton with 3 and trip Allen and Company are going to use those three.
They got them in their Hip Pocket and McEachern on the other side with two.
We have a flag on the play Too Many Men on the field for McEachern, and I think they got caught.
I'd be trying to bring 15 or 16 guys on, if I could get away with it.
We saw number 42, for McEachern running off the field.
That was Nick friend.
How about these two coaches tonight?
Gil, the ups and the downs and the momentum swings in the game that you just alluded to what a roller coaster ride for Hockman and Hidalgo here tonight two, great teams back and forth.
Heavyweight match writer and McDaniel?
I would say.
So, Lot more to come for both these teachings.
After this we're pitching the two-minute Mark 3534.
The Indians out in front of the Raider.
That's McLeod straight.
Drop back looking long as a receive his look wide open and he has it Great defensive play.
A great defensive play by Jaylon white, who was out there, they had single coverage.
Gil, let's kill.
Let's remember that your center fielder.
Kelp arm has been a ejected from the game so you don't have the safety help that you would ordinarily.
Have you've got Jaylyn Williams out there, matched up one-on-one with their most speedy wide receiver.
Also a corner by the way, in DJ Smith.
What a great job for a second there.
Gil.
It looked like Smith came down with it, right?
But we've seen some great Ask protection and coverage in the backfield, for both these teams tonight.
That was the most accurate past.
We've seen from Parker McLeod so far into games as well.
And we've seen, we're seeing Smith right now helped off the field on his own power and getting some fluids in them.
And that'll bring up a second and five at the 37 for the Walton.
Raiders who Trail by 135, 234 under a minute.
To go here, Cantrell stadium and what has been an outstanding night?
The football on the great GPB Labor Day, weekend football, high school football in the great state of Georgia McLeod, the give to number one and he's getting close to Midfield.
And Jones has brought down over there and show And was among those bringing them down, but we got a first down and keeps the chains.
Moving And everything in the momentum.
Still in the hands of that gentleman trip Alum, the offensive coordinator for the Raiders and Rocky Hidalgo, you know, that was the plan ahead so much success against Brooklyn.
Everybody blocks down to the left and they create a cutback lane for tyre and Jones and he's able to take it was a big play, picking up a first down because of going to the are on first down.
The last thing you want to do is get in the third and long situation but you don't have to encounter that very often when you have tire and Jones in the backfield First and Ten at the 49 and Jones again with the football and dry.
Downhill picked up about a couple and Walton will call timeout.
They'll burn one.
That's the right move to make.
You got to stop the clock here.
They've got the ball, Gill spotted it about the 46-yard line.
They need to get to the 25 to be an Anthony price field goal range.
Just a reminder at the conclusion of this football game tonight.
Jon Nelson will be talking to the winning coach and Mark Harmon and of course we'll have scores and around the great state of Georgia, great state of Georgia and quick wrap-up of what has been an outstanding day of high school football in week, two.
I see Marky Mark and John down there and of course they got the front row right front row seat until we set something at the top of our broadcast, in our stand-up about and being a non, perhaps, an encore performance for Tyrone Jones.
What's the sticky note saying your hand right now?
4:43 carries 310 yards, okay?
And for TouchDown, for touchdowns last week 303, you were right on the money.
You called it.
I thought I didn't have another performance tonight and he sure did.
I don't think he got three bills in the night but you know, got it done.
I don't think o talking either.
I've been at 34 to go second and 10 in the fact that after all that they're trailing by a point kudos to the McEachern Indians and we see right now the Walton Raiders with the spread look.
and, McLeod will work out of the shotgun.
He throws in the flat.
In the pass is incomplete intended, for tyrant Jones at about the 47 yard, line of the Indians of McEachern.
The own defending on the play, the only good news.
There is the incompletion stops the clock, but you're 21 yards away from a possible field goal.
Remember, when they were in this situation before the end of the half, they had Tyron Jones running down the middle of the field on a seam route and he was wide open and of course that's the play that resulted in the big helmet to helmet contact.
Attacked by kelp arm, which resulted in his ejection, but see if they try to do that again, better than 5, let's go and they open field and he's moving still moving.
I'm moving the chains.
And another first down and focus on the tell you something.
This kid is the real deal.
He might have 50 carries before.
It's all said and done tonight.
Gil, Christian Ford just saved a touchdown, that's a first down and he continues to move.
Those chains and chew up real estate First and Ten at the Indian 33.
Three the Walton.
Raiders, that's number one.
Again outside turning and pushing his way close to the first down yardage.
That'll get him down till about the 25 feel.
They're getting down into the field goal range there, two or three yards away.
I think anywhere inside the 30, they're going to attempt a field goal but right now on the next Kari, if they do give the Tyrant Jones his best bet he's got to get out of bounds here.
You want to be able to use a Time.
Out for the field goal team.
You don't want to waste all your time outs and have to rush your field goal.
Unit out there to make a game winner like North, when it did.
Last week, 45 carats 332 yards for tyrant Jones here.
Tonight, in addition to that for touchdowns and you're looking at him, it's a timeout right now.
And you know, I've said this many times we've seen some outstanding performance lunch tray McDaniel but I tell you the past two weeks we have been treated to something something.
Something special 82 carries on the season, six hundred and thirty-five yards and 9 touchdowns for the young man.
Well, what did we talk about?
Okay, we said two hundred to two thousand three hundred and seventy-five yards last year and 33 touchdowns and we've already seen you just gave us the numbers of what 32 games in mind those stats.
Don't stop accumulating.
After the 11th week of the season, they continue on into the playoffs.
If you make the playoffs and continue on, say he plays 15 games again this year, whether or not they win the state championship or not, he's got a fantastic opportunity to annihilate.
Those numbers.
35, 34, McEachern, under a minute, 49 seconds to go in regulation to Fallon the office.
Have coordinator, can they execute form?
That's number one getting outside the Juke step and he's close to a first down and it will depend on the spot.
And the time continues, to tick down and looking at that clock, and of course you have Anthony price who's standing by and they've just burned a timeout.
Tyron Jones just set a new Walton record.
Rushing record, 46 carries 332 yards and four touchdowns in a single game somewhere.
Michael Bolton, and shaking his head.
I'm sure he thought that was a record that would never be broken when he said it against Alpharetta.
Few years ago, but Chiron, Jones is just otherworldly.
And keep in mind, this may be the fastest defense that they Play all year and we're not calling Region 5 week, but they're stiffest competition.
As we mentioned, comes a little bit later in the season.
This guy, if healthy could open up eyes of everyone in the country.
If they're not on a reopened right now, Nick Saban's making his chops.
I got a feeling that not only makes Savin but he like goal and Chris Stewart.
And all those guys over in Tuscaloosa that they down now and Dallas getting ready to take on the Michigan Wolverines to my night, but I'm sure they're watching on GPB.
Dot org, there commit and you move the football to the center of field and line it up and get ready for price for an opportunity tree McDaniel.
What kind of time out number one?
In the backfield.
I give it to him and see you can do whatever we can to score and that's who they do.
And they keyed on us what they keyed on them.
And one is spun around.
And the clock will continue to run to run down.
31 seconds to go.
It's 4th down so you gotta kick.
You got to get trained McDaniel.
You gotta Kick.
Yep.
And if I remember correctly, Anthony prices are right footed.
Kicker and ideally you would want the ball to be on the left hash instead it is on the right hash and its high school football.
So the hash the hashes are quite a bit wider than they would be at the college or NFL level.
It's difficult for a right footed, kicker to hook the ball in.
In this scenario, let's set the scene right now.
Clemens with a Conversion gave the McEachern Indians at 35 34 lead right now at the 31.
Second Mark and McEachern with the football right now with an opportunity.
How wide are the hash marks trip?
Well, I don't have a measuring tape but they're very wide.
You got a shot of it there.
Just before, as he was trying to set the tea down, this will be about a 43-yard attempt.
When we talked to Coach otago last week, he said he'd be comfortable with about a 42 yarder, which puts the ball to 25.
So this is only about a yard outside of his comfort zone.
Anthony price.
the come in at attempt, portray believes about a 43-yard field goal, 43 yards, Malik Williams in, with that length, for the Indians coming in, to try to attempt to block The field goal attempt by price.
43 yards.
To give Walton the lead and a timeout.
They're gonna ice them.
Trey McDaniel just prolonging the drama here?
I'm not so sure.
I believe in icing the kicker.
But at the high school level, you're never sure what mental state.
These young men are in when the game's on the line.
So it's worth a shot.
If you're on the McEachern Sidelines, no matter how this game ends, it's been one of the best we've done right.
Well, last week we saw Michael De Angola.
Yes, good friend, Bob spire and couple dings with the win.
Over Colquitt County on a last-second.
Field goal, I was talking to Bob this week, Isa kill, many people, and saying, why didn't we Spike?
And I don't spike it, to set it up and we just The clock run out and we took our chances in the end goal of busted one, through to give him the victory, over Colquitt County.
Now, after all this drama, it's going to come down to the right foot of a 58 165 pound senior kicker from the person Of one, Anthony price.
Blake mans the hole.
The kick is up.
43 yards, 3735, 25 seconds to go.
Wow, so much pressure on a senior kicker there, in this situation, you're either the hero or the goat.
And in some situations, the kicker's the Forgotten man on the team.
And right now, he's the most beloved guy over on the Walton, sideline, but keep in mind, you'll they're 25 seconds left to go in this football game and you have Taj Griffin receiving the kickoff, Anything could happen but right now Walton is ecstatic.
Watch Is he hooks it in ml?
We told you it'd be hard for him to do that and he does he's unflappable and watch how excited the young man is so Jalen.
White trying to block it, but it's up it looks good and it is good to reaction on the radar.
Sideline tells it all and this is the McEachern reaction, pictures.
Tell it all Steve, Graham and Company.
Thanks for the wonderful pictures.
What?
A contrast of reaction, nine plays, 37 yards, one minute and 35 seconds to go and Rocky Hidalgo, talking age troops, Kyle Hockman doing the same on the Indian side line, price pumps his fist as if to say I had it.
I had it all along.
You tried to ice me, but I had it all along.
Now let's see what kind of rabbit McEachern can pull out of their hat here.
Maybe some trickeration maybe reverse or something on the kickoff or do they just try to play it safe and try to The game on offense.
I back to receive will be TJ.
Rahming, we talked earlier, Taj, Griffin and Ryan Sherman Hill.
I think they price has been kicking it deep and doing it.
Well, I think he met squid it here.
Italian Jones is numbers, folks, 48.
Carats 333 yards, a new single game.
Walton rushing, Mark in addition, to that for touchdowns here tonight, 3735 Walton over midi tree and what has been an outstanding football game here on GPB launching it and taking it is Griffin at his own.
Five moves forward close to the 25 yard line and the Indians will take over first and 10 right there.
And how many plays do they have in them Trey McDaniel?
Well, they're out of timeouts.
So they may have 2 or 3 depending on if they can get up the sideline.
The first couple plays I have to believe are going to be near the sideline so they can try to get out of Bounce.
Keep in mind, a first down stops, the clock just in, so they can reset the ball and then it starts back up right now.
Clemens doesn't have the strongest arm, but he's very mobile.
You have to boot him out you Sinful five receivers, downfield, and put him in open space.
So he's got a clear line of sight down the field which is not a Fall Guy.
And if you're a defensive coordinator for Walter Crystal, what do you do?
You put your best 11 players on the field because it's going to be a jump ball situation at some point.
All right, let's see what happens.
20 seconds to go and what has been an outstanding football game here on GPB tonight.
Clemens out of the shotgun the loan back behind them is Sherman throwing out in the right tail and the Receiver over there was Malik Williams, it's incomplete and they'll try again second and 10 16 ticks to go it would have been about a 10 yard completion, but it's an awfully long, throw that you're asking your Junior quarterback to make and he didn't really set his feet.
Well, there before he let go of the football.
In my opinion, they need to boot him out to one of the sidelines and make a throw down that sideline and try to get as close as you can to the 50.
So you have an attempt at a Hail Mary from right here.
You can't attempt a Hail Mary.
You got to get much closer.
Clemens again Under Pressure the jump pass to Sherman.
It gets into the 3432, eight seconds.
Seven, that could be the final game of the night.
The clock continues to wind down.
I don't know if aliens have enough time because you didn't pick up the first down of this will stop the clock.
I told Alton's rushing the field I thought prematurely, but they're not, it's a win for the Raiders.
It is over and what a victory here tonight for Rocky Hidalgo, and Company 37 to 35, over the McEachern, Indians, and we had stars above Here tonight, Tyron Jones Griffin, price, kicking the field goal.
What proved to be the difference and it's football game.
Clemens, a two-point conversion, Trey McDaniel, we had it all just an outstanding day of football on Labor Day.
What a way to open up the season.
My friend, the sun has not set on this McEachern team, right?
This is an out of region game.
They just played the defending state champ and the defending State runner-up.
They are now poised to head into In play.
And they know what they got.
This is a good football.
Team, downstairs to our John Nelson.
With a good friend, Rocky Hidalgo, good morning John.
Good morning Rocky.
Good morning GT.
Good Morning, Rocky.
Have you ever been in a game like this?
You know, this is his, a great football game.
I'm going to tell you, I don't know what 12 bucks for admission, man.
You got your money's worth copies, West, classic lived up to it tonight.
It was two great games.
I'm telling you really proud of my kids with both teams man.
I can't say they fought and fought when I thought we had it won.
They came back and gosh, man.
What a night.
That's all I got to say.
And then last week you and I were standing on the field of the Georgia Dome talking about a running back, who is okay?
And he had another okay week this week and we've got him with a new school record tonight.
Now that surprised me about that guy he's you know he's got Superman tattooed across his chest, he special player really is obviously the lines working, everything working, it was this a bit just about survival.
Like we talked about at the half, it was, you know, we've been standing out here in the heat and humidity since about 7:00.
And I mean, we were, we were cramming before the game start.
I know mceachran was to it was just one of those things.
It was a it was a marathon night and really just you just had to survive and come out here and just tough it out.
Thanks for your time, rocks.
Congratulation preciate it man.
Good night.
Good morning.
I should say.
Good morning.
All right, Mark, I'm Mark Harmon, get over here.
You want to talk about a full day of football?
This was it.
