The New York Philharmonic will be performing “Dark Waves” and “Die Walküre.”

Starting February 14th, Music Director Designate Jaap van Zweden will conduct the New York Philharmonic in a program that will run through February 17th. The program will connect the theme of primordial nature in “Dark Waves,” by Pulitzer Prize winner John Luther Adams, with the struggle between life and death in Wagner’s “Die Walküre.”
