The New York Philharmonic presents the series “New York Stories: Threads of Our City.”

Through January 27th, The New York Philharmonic presents the series “New York Stories: Threads of Our City.” It includes concerts and events examining New York City’s roots as a city of immigrants. The centerpiece is the World Premiere of Julia Wolfe’s "Fire in my mouth," which reflects on the 1911 Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire that killed 146 garment workers, most of them young immigrants.
