We're spotlighting Black Chicagoans who've left lasting impacts on the city.

February is Black History Month and to celebrate, we'll be spotlighting a Chicago Black history maker every week. This week's history maker is nationally recognized architect Wendell Campbell. He was born in 1927 in East Chicago, Indiana, and moved to Chicago later in life. Campbell launched his own architecture firm in 1966, Wendell Campbell Associates.
