Wendy Red Star: A Scratch on the Earth is a mid-career retrospective of the artist's photography, textiles, and installation work at the Newark Museum. Wendy Red Star draws on pop culture, conceptual art, and her native Crow traditions from her childhood on the reservation in Montana. Wendy says she came to realize that most people know very little about Native American history or life today.
