Meet a Columbus dancer who was able to make her passion, her profession.
Quianna Simpson tries to live her life in respect to the African philosophy of Ubuntu. In this way, she has forged a career out of her passion. Quianna began practicing traditional West African dance at the age of 7 and considers herself a community dancer. She’s kept her community near and dear over the years and now teaches at the institute where she danced as a child.
