Ravel Rousers: The Reimagining of 'Daphnis et Chloe'
The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, Dance Kaleidoscope and the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir presented the fully-staged version of Maurice Ravel’s symphonic ballet "Daphnis et Chloe," considered one of the composer’s greatest masterpieces. The collaboration of three organizations and nearly 300 performers over this one work was a massive undertaking, and something rarely done in the modern era.
