- Mental health is how we take care of our emotions and feelings.
- [Speaker] Feelings that affect our mental health are stress, sadness, anger and depression.
- Things that are not good for my mental health are wanting to hurt myself and yelling at other people.
- Things not good for my mental health are watching scary videos, staying up late every night, allowing others to bully me.
- That's not good.
- I know when I need help with my mental health when I feel confused, unfocused or uncomfortable or sad.
- I need help with my mental health if I'm sad every day.
- I need help with my mental health if I'm angry every day.
- Different people do different things to help their mental health.
- [speech device] If you are feeling bad, there are lots of different things you can do.
- I take deep breaths.
[long inhale] [long exhale] - [speech device] When I feel stressed or upset, I talk with my friends.
- [speech device] I need help calming down.
- I like to make hip-hop music.
- I like to color.
- I like to play drums.
- I like popping bubbles.
[bubbles popping] - [speech device] I like going to Grandpa's house.
- [speech device] Hot tub with Dad.
- We can help somebody that is having trouble with their mental health by reaching out to them.
- It's okay to talk about feelings.
- It's okay to talk about our mental health to people we trust.
- I don't talk about my mental health with strangers.
- If I need help, I go to Dad.
- I can talk to my teacher and parents.
- I can go to my therapist to talk about my mental health.
- If I need help with my mental health, I can talk to my parents or counselor.
