As the battle for Mosul continues, Iraqi civilians are fleeing to camps where security concerns are ripping families apart. Iraqi security forces and Kurdish authorities have a mandate to keep members of ISIS from escaping, so men and boys are routinely taken for investigation, leaving their families to worry about when, and if, they’ll return.
