♪ ♪ Coyote: We met randomly- Wolf: Working together.
Coyote: Yeah.
Working together at a bar.
Wolf: Got hired the same day, as well!
Coyote: And kind of just had that like "we're gonna be best friends".
Bonded really quick.
We got called to do a music video for an artist by the name of Yellow Wolf.
And Yellow Wolf, after that, had asked us to come perform at his festival called Slumfest.
Wolf: Slumfest, yeah.
Coyote: In Nashville.
And he kind of asked to come as a group- like we were one band, and we weren't.
And then, so we left there and be like, 'whoa.
We'll just do Wild the Coyote and Badd Wolf, and we'll merge the sets together'.
And, the rest is history.
We start every show off with a song called "The Boondocks".
That's actually off my solo album.
Very dark song.
Comes in, just guitar and vocals, and then kind of just launches into this very theatrical intro to our set.
And, it kind of sets him up for the following song which is- Wolf: Johnny.
Coyote: his single, too.
Wolf: Yeah.
So, my single is "Johnny Cash".
I love Johnny Cash, and a lot of people can relate to Johnny Cash.
I like to wear a lot of black.
So, that song was just me becoming Badd Wolf and how I am as a person.
And, having that confidence and not really caring about what people say or anything like that.
You know what I mean?
Like, you're representing yourself.
So like, that's the reason why I wrote "Johnny Cash" and had this whole swagger about it.
You know what I mean?
'Cause Johnny Cash just carried himself as "he's a man".
He's the man in black, you know what I mean?
So, wanted to make sure I put that in a track but in my own way.
