Will Green is changing the lives of teenage at-risk African Americans in the Madison area.

Will Green founded Mentoring Positives in 2004 to serve at-risk African American kids in the Darbo-Worthington neighborhood in Madison. Green, a coach, uses basketball as a hook. “Perseverance, working hard, teamwork, all those things that you need in everyday life. I push those traits onto the kids. They're yearning to be a part of a community and we're going to give them that.”
