The Columbus Museum of Art showcases the work of Columbus-based artist William Hawkins.

The latest exhibition at the Columbus Museum of Art showcases the work of Columbus-based artist William Hawkins. The self-taught African American artist is best known for his bold and playful depictions of Columbus landmarks and exotic animals. Museum director Nannette Maciejunes walks us through the exhibit and tells us more about this important artist including his technique known as scumbling.
