Making paczki in Stevens Point. New Wisconsin Hometown Stories premieres Oct. 25!

The Polish tradition of making paczki, a Polish doughnut filled with jelly, is carried on by local Catholic churches in the Stevens Point area. The indulgent doughnuts are made leading up to the fasting season of Lent. Every year the congregants of St. Mary – Torun in Stevens Point, Wisconsin come together to make them as a fundraiser for the church.
