For 50 years racers have been coming to Lake Alexander in Merrill, Wisconsin to take part in a high speed tradition: the Merrill Ice Drags. Cars of all kinds are brought out on the frozen lake for a day of drag racing on the world’s fastest 1/8 mile on ice. The high speeds, flashy cars, and crowd enthusiasm keep people coming back year after year.
