Clip: Season 4 Episode 4 | 2m 47sVideo has Closed Captions
Pete's Hamburgers has been an institution in downtown Praitie du Chien for over a century.
The smell of cooking onions fills the air when Pete's Hamburger stand is open on summer weekends in downtown Prairie du Chien. For more than a hundred years, the Gokey family has operated the business started by Pete Gokey in 1909. They still make them the unique way that Pete did, using water on a grill that ensures the burgers turn out as moist, meaty morsels that customers love to gobble up.
