Mark Shepard says farming needs to evolve in order to feed the world and protect the environment. He says his farm near Viola is living proof that perennial crops and water management is the solution. Shepard says farmers don’t need to give up everything they know to practice restoration agriculture. They can add it to what they already do and increase their profits along the way.
