Filmed in NY’s Adirondack Park and Yellowstone National Park, this documentary tells the story of the development of William West Durant’s rustic Adirondack architecture beginning with Camps Pine Knot and Uncas and culminating with Durant’s greatest achievement, Sagamore Lodge. Built as an exclusive gilded age hunting retreat, Sagamore Lodge was for 50 years the property of the Vanderbilt family.
