The year 2020 marked the one hundredth anniversary of the 19th Amendment protecting a woman's right to vote. However, winning that right was neither easy nor fast. C. Morgan Grefe, Executive Director of the Rhode Island Historical Society explains the 75-year struggle for women in Rhode Island and around the country to finally be able to cast a vote.
