And here with more details about this year's celebration of success event, is executive director Samira Harnish.
Hi Samira, thanks so much for being here.
Well, with things as they are, it's really nice to see a celebration of success.
- Yes, yeah.
We are thrilled to announce our 13th annual celebration of success to the women that reached their goals and become self-reliant.
So it is really amazing way to represent certificate for them.
And we have this year actually more than 30 women, resilient women that work really hard to reach to their goals.
Like to be assistant, you know, doctor assistant, a dentist assistant, nurse, or open their own business.
So many, many surprise and successful story will be represent on December ninth, yeah.
- This is always such a great event because it really is encouraging.
I mean, you help women who come here as refugees, as I mean, they're escaping some really hard things.
And you help them succeed.
- Yeah I mean, they've been, you know, surviving, but we don't want them only survive.
We want them to thrive in our state.
And that's what they are doing.
And they wanted to show to Utahans who they are.
This is our successful story.
And I love to have a lot of Utahans to come.
It's open to the public, free to the public to come with their friends and everything.
And because they wanted to see how many people that come in there and notice that the time when we give them a certificate to say, we are thriving.
Thank you so much for giving us this opportunity to start from zero.
And they don't want it to feel a burden on them.
So really I, you know, encourage everybody to come and see that.
- Oh, it's a wonderful event.
And I thank you so much for the work you do.
Thank you.
- Thank you.
- And if you'd like to know more about that in celebration event, it celebrates the success of women from elsewhere, of women of the world.
