This morning, Louisville police arrested Scottie Scheffler on his way to the PGA Championship.
We have his mug shot.
Police say a bus hit and killed a pedestrian.
And John Mills, a tournament vendor.
Police stopped traffic to investigate.
Officers say Scheffler drove past police in his SUV as an officer yelled for him to stop.
That officer grabbed the SUV.
Police say he was dragged about ten yards and suffered pain and swelling.
Police accuse Scheffler of third degree criminal mischief, reckless driving and disregarding an officer, directing traffic.
Police later released Scheffler from jail.

Scheffler, who is a past winner of the Masters, played in the PGA tournament today.
He also put out a statement on social media, quote, This morning I was proceeding as directed by police officers.
It was a very chaotic situation, understandably so, considering the tragic accident that had occurred earlier.
And there was a big misunderstanding of what I thought I was being asked to do.
I never intended to disregard any of the instructions.
I'm hopeful to put this to the side and focus on golf today.
Of course, all of us involved in the tournament express our deepest sympathies to the family of the man who passed away in the early hours accident.

It truly puts everything in perspective.
Mayor Craig Greenberg also put out a statement this morning.
Our city experienced a tragic accident that took the life of John Mills of Louisville, Ky. And who will be greatly missed by his family and to our community.
It is unfortunate that an incident took place between LAPD officer and Mr. Scheffler while he was attempting to enter Valhalla.
Lmpd is fully investigating this incident and the legal process will proceed.
