We discuss Broward County's new decisions regarding proposed taxes and marijuana tickets.

While a proposed sales tax to fund transportation solutions in Broward is likely dead, Broward voters will still be asked to approve a new penny sales tax this fall. Broward’s Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), voted down the transportation tax this week. And 6 months after approving an option to issue tickets in lieu of jail time for minor marijuana possession, NONE have been issued. Why?
