Amigos For Kids uses April to honor the lives of children lost to child abuse.

In 2013, over 1,500 children died from abuse and neglect in the U.S. Like years past, Amigos For Kids takes the month of April to honor the lives of children lost to child abuse and educate the community to help foster healthy and safe environments for our children, through their Blue Ribbon Week campaign. The organization president, Rosa Maria Plasencia, discusses the importance of this focus.
