This week...Opposition to the FIU expansion and Amendment 1.

The Youth Fair is challenging an initiative on the ballot looking to expand FIU onto the fair’s current location at Tamiami Park and subsequently moving it to another location. Also, Amendment 1 looks to ensure land and water conservation projects are adequately financed by committing one third of Florida’s real estate documentary stamp tax revenues to protecting the state's environment.
