The CITT is withdrawing its financial support of Miami-Dade county's bus system.
The Citizens' Independent Transportation Trust has voted to withdraw its financial support of Miami-Dade county's bus system over the course of 3-5 years, in order to “reaffirm the original intent of the People's Transportation Plan”. Trust Chairman Paul Schwiep explains why this will strengthen the Trust and urges the county to find other sources to fund the buses.
