Charles Dieterle, Trombone - Finalist in the 2012 Bolz Young Artist Competition.
Charles Dieterle, 18, a finalist in the 2012 Bolz Young Artist Competition, is a senior at Madison West High School. He began playing trombone in fifth grade. Charles attended Interlochen Arts Camp the past two summers. Last year, he won the Fine Arts Award for Outstanding Achievement on Trombone. Though he describes himself as a classical musician at heart, he is also comfortable playing jazz.
