Clip: Special | 28m 1s

Michelle Alexander, a highly acclaimed civil rights advocate and legal scholar, delivers the keynote address. Drawing from her book, "The New Jim Crow: Mass Incarceration in the Age of Colorblindness," she argues that our society has become increasingly fractured and punitive, and that we need to re-focus our energies and resources on following Dr. King's ideals of compassion and inclusion. 4/6
