People are most commonly know about the reduce, reuse, recycle, but with zero waste you add in the refuse first and also there's rot which is composting and the zero waste lifestyle is basically where you are trying to reduce the amount of resources that you use and to reduce your environmental footprint.
In 2014, I was diagnosed with SIBO, which is small intestinal bacteria, overgrowth and endometriosis.
That's what really inspired me to start doing it because I was so sick I had to do something.
A lot of times zero waste can be seen as a lifestyle where you're trying to avoid the excess packaging.
You're avoiding materials that are more of a single use item that is like paper bags or plastic bags around it.
I think that if we can heal our earth, then we're going to be healing our bodies as well.
And that's one of the biggest drivers for me is teaching people about this lifestyle to help us heal our earth and in return, healing our bodies.
