Highlights of PBS's 2026 awards season, along with notable achievements from recent years, include:
2026
Six (6) News & Documentary Emmy® Awards wins for FRONTLINE, POV, Independent Lens, Great Performances, and other PBS programs, following a record 51 collective nominations, the highest total among all networks.
Two (2) Peabody Awards and eight (8) nominations, recognizing PBS's excellence in news programming, with wins for FRONTLINE's “The Rise and Fall of Terrorgram” and PBS News Hour's “Immigration Crackdown.”
38 Telly Awards wins recognizing excellence in video and television across all screens, including PBS, PBS Digital Studios, PBS Creative Services, PBS KIDS, and PBS Digital & Marketing. Additionally, PBS member stations across the country received multiple Telly Awards recognizing their outstanding work.
Earned three (3) Writers Guild Awards and eight (8) nominations, with wins for AMERICAN EXPERIENCE's “Forgotten Hero: Walter White and the NAACP” and FRONTLINE's “2,000 Meters to Andriivka” and “Trump's Power & Rule of Law.”
