Palmdale High School Chamber Singers

The students of the Palmdale High School Chamber Singers, a select group drawn from the school's 60-voice A'Cappella Choir, demonstrate why they've won international prizes in "Twelve Days of Christmas." They have earned a reputation for excellence through regional, national and international choral festivals and competitions scoring superior and gold level rankings. The Chamber Singers placed third in the Senior Children's Category at the International Eisteddfod in Llangollen, Wales, in 2004 and 2008, and earned a Gold Cup in the 17th Concorso Internazionale di Canto Corale in Verona, Italy, in 2006. In 2008, the Chamber Singers along with the Sunday Night Singers representing the Palmdale High School Choral Union placed second in the Mixed Choir competition at the International Eisteddfod.

Michael McCullough assumed the post of Director of Choral Music at Palmdale High School in the fall of 1995. He earned his bachelor's degree in Voice and master's degree in Choral Conducting from the California State University at Northridge under the tutelage of John Alexander.
