On Tuesday evening, President Obama will address a joint session of Congress to deliver his latest State of the Union address.

This year's Annotated State of the Union Address is now live. In the coming hours, we'll add analysis from a panel of experts plus NewsHour videos on a variety of topics covered in the president's speech and the Republican response.

No matter where you happen to be on Tuesday, the PBS NewsHour will bring you the most comprehensive coverage and analysis of the president's speech and the Republican response by Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan.

On-air | The regular Tuesday NewsHour broadcast will preview what's at stake in this year's State of the Union. Beginning at 9 p.m. ET Tuesday, Jim Lehrer will anchor the NewsHour's special live broadcast coverage with analysis from columnists Mark Shields and Michael Gerson. Check your local listings.

Online | The NewsHour's website will have livestreaming video of the speeches (in partnership with Ustream) and bring back our popular Annotated State of the Union interactive, featuring analysis during and after the president's address by NewsHour correspondents and experts on a variety of topics. The speeches will be posted to the PBS NewsHour's YouTube channel as well.

Universal Subtitles | You'll also have the opportunity to take part in a unique project to translate the president's address into different languages. We are collaborating with with Universal Subtitles in an effort to make the speech available to non-English speaking viewers in the U.S. and abroad using a crowd sourcing tool that allows users with foreign language skills to help transcribe the video.
