Herman Cain: Sexual Harassment Allegations Are 'Baffling'

By: News Desk

In an interview with The PBS NewsHour's Judy Woodruff on Monday afternoon, Republican presidential hopeful Herman Cain said allegations that he sexually harassed two women were "baffling" and, that in his opinion, his behavior had not been inappropriate.

The former Godfather's Pizza CEO and his campaign have spent Monday scrambling to respond to a story about the allegations in Politico.

Cain told Woodruff that one woman's claim was found to be false and that he was unaware of the second woman's claims. He said both were found to be baseless.

"I have never sexually harassed anyone," he said.

Regarding foreign policy, Cain discussed whether he would intervene in Syria and said he viewed China as a potential military threat for the United States. He also discussed his prospects of winning the GOP nomination.
