Around the Web: Remembering Christopher Hitchens

Christopher Hitchens -- a critic, author, journalist and habitual slayer of sacred cows -- died Thursday at the age of 62 from cancer. Hitchens' polarizing presence in public debate has spurred a cascade of tributes around the web.

Hitchens brought his strong convictions to Art Beat in 2009 for a debate on the Parthenon Marbles, an issue he cared deeply about. He was the author of the book, "The Parthenon Marbles: The Case for Restitution."
